Yesterday was my daughter’s birthday . We wanted to go somewhere special she’s never been and Mean Mug did not disappoint. Upon entering the environment was absolutely beautiful and clean . The staff were all so friendly as we fumbled through the menu. When I told them we were going to be complicated because it was her birthday everyone started telling her happy birthday and gave her a cinnamon roll . Not something we expected but such a nice thought . I have diet restrictions so I braced myself to search the menu but it was actually super easy ! I was so happy I didn’t have to order another salad . The curry bowl with sweet potatoes was DELICIOUS. Our drinks were ready before we were finished ordering and our food followed us to the table . It came out quick but was still warm . Again the eating area was beautiful. We had such a good time and I couldn’t recommend it more !

I love the food here and always come when I am in town. But the staff was incredibly rude today. I don’t write negative reviews but it feels necessary. They made us feel like we were an inconvenience by ordering food. The girl who brought us our food was mad and refused to even smile because she didn’t see our table number from the other side of the restaurant. Just be nice and friendly if you’re going to interact with customers! One out of the four employees we interacted with was nice and smiled. Mean mug is a fitting name.

We stopped by here on our way to the Chickamauga battlefield park and I am glad we did. There were so many fast-food restaurants on our way from our Air Bnb to the battlefield and we just did not want to deal with any of them. I found this place on Google Maps. It was close to the park, it was unique and, most importantly, had great food.

1st. Time experience. Met up with some friends at this location. Only had the coffee’s. Prices were comparable to most others of this type. Liked the atmosphere very much. Observed the employees. They seemed very focused on their work and the manager was taking the time to meet and speak with patrons. That makes the place more than anything.

Part of my order was to have a toasted dark bagel with just cream cheese and smoked salmon. Person in the drive thru confirmed we wanted nothing else on the bagel just cream cheese and smoked salmon. We ended up getting the bagel filled with onions, lettuce etc.

First time customer at Mean Mug, I ordered a simple Mocha and asked to put whip cream on top. “Sorry we don’t do whip cream!” Was her reply… If you consider yourself a coffee house and charging an alarming 6$ for a cup can u spare a squirt or two of whip cream? Lol I won’t be back too many coffee houses to choose from and cheaper!

I ate here for my lunch break one day. The girl behind the counter didn’t greet me or ask if she could help me, or if I had any questions about the menu, etc. Maybe that’s the shtick? They /literally/ mean mug you? Anyway, the food was good and they had alternative milk options for me (lactose intolerant) which was nice.

This is a wholesome and wonderful place filled with amazing people that work there.every time I go I’m treated like a best friend and this establishment is definitely one of the best I’ve ever experienced and the food is amazing and the drinks are out of this world (The Nitro is the best) but I hope you all CONTINUE to do/be amazing
