This is a super cute coffee shop! I loved the modern urban decor and my sausage, egg and cheese + bacon biscuit was delicious! The cheesy grits were also super good! Very well seasoned and extra creamy.

Stopped by on Sunday, 6/18/23. Free street parking or paid gravel lot parking. We ordered at the counter and they brought the food and drinks to our table. The food took a while to come out, but they were busy! They had a changing table in the bathroom, which was helpful! The bathrooms were kind of gross, but they were stocked with soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.

I went there on Sunday morning around 10:30. After I made a line, many people came to the coffee shop. The food and coffee have for healthier options. I ordered golden latte and biscuits sands. It was awesome.

Great experience at mean mug today! The staff was really friendly, the food and drinks were amazing, and the space was super cozy. We got the avocado toast with smoked salmon and a Morningstar sausage biscuit sandwich for food. Both were top notch. The London fog and matcha were also incredible. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a coffee shop around Chattanooga!

In a nice old building and they kept the ambiance! Very friendly service, had steel cut oats and fruit . Coffee is good and hot! Didn’t try but they have some donuts and cinnamon rolls plus more for a sweet tooth.

Love the Pink Lattes from here! They have some really nice hot drink options that are healthy sweetened with honey that actually taste good! Great location with a nice patio to bring your fur friends. Their oatmeal and scrambled eggs are good and they give generous portion sizes. The Nutella muffins are very yum as well! Love ordering delivery from here too! This place is absolutely amazing.

Great coffee & breakfast spot! My only complaint is that seating is first come, and since we are a family of four, we had to wait for something to open up. It isn’t the shop’s fault but there were several individuals working at tables meant for multiple people, while we waited for something to open up.

Delicious, quick breakfast spot! This was my go to spot after being on vacation in TN for a week. One of the best biscuit sandwiches I had while in town. Not only was the food great (bagels, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, etc.) but the service was great.

Finally checked this place out during one of my bi-monthly excursions to Chatt. Their London Fog is among the better ones I’ve had, along with being served at a very acceptable temperature. The Alice is a big win, especially when one adds bacon. Portions are reasonable and you would definitely get plenty of bang for your buck. The overall vibe is laid back and definitely a hipster joint. The service at Mean Mug is amenable and overall experience is not stressful in the slightest. There were several dogs that other customers brought with them, so if you’re an animal lover you’ll get even more out of this experience. Highly recommend this low-key establishment.
