Drove from DC for halal food. Did not disappoint!!!! I’m from NYC and this cart is as good as any there. The guys are so friendly and adorable too. Food portion is huge and such good value. Will drive an hour any day for some good combo over rice.

Friendly workers and consistent with the flavors. I get the mix combo platter which is Lamb and Chicken with a small salad on the side on top of rice. Then you can pick either or both of the white sauce and red hot sauce. I get both sauces and extra spicy to get the extra nasal cleansing. Also they don’t overcharge you like other places when you tell them to make your platter extra saucy.

I was introduced to Halal meats in the 90’s while visiting New York. And every visit since then I tried many vendors and restaurants. I have a favorite in NY. (A cart close to Penn Station).; Fast forward….I had not been to NY in a while. I did a search for Halal in Baltimore. THIS establishment was the only one that showed up…that was in 2017, I believe. I drove from work, 15 miles away, to get my HALAL! I went for lunch multiple times per week after that first trip.. I’ve tried many different places in Baltimore since then…and nothing compares. They make it how I like it. Always fresh. Chopped pita on top of the extra meat and sauce.
