Normally they are on point and the food is good well this evening I got small shrimp fried rice and egg roll…the rice was hard…only 4 pcs of shrimp and the egg roll was overdone…almost burnt like and incredibly chewing. The food was nasty this evening and a waste of 9 bucks.

Usually good food…tonight it was terrible. General Tso “Chicken” was breading mush with gristle filled pieces of dark meat (when I managed to find meat).

I tried Mee Garden in the past with poor results. The food was bland. Gave them another try and they have improved tremendously. The Lo Mein was delicious and the fries were enjoyed by the kids.

I decided to try Mee Garden because I was disappointed with the previous establishment I was getting my food from (lack of cleanliness, incorrect orders, leaky containers, etc.). I am very happy with Mee Garden. The food is fresh and properly cooked. The pepper steak, chicken and broccoli, Lo Mein, Won Ton soup and spare ribs (our favorite dishes) are all terrific. Their portions are very generous. I love the dumplings, whether in the Won Ton soup or steamed and fried as appetizer. They have a nice chew to them which is a sign they are not over cooked. Nothing worse than an overcooked dumpling. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered. The people are very nice. One suggestion I would make is to make the spicy dishes hotter/more spicy. I’ve ordered extra hot a couple of times and I could barely feel the burn. Other than that highly recommended for your take out!

I always search for best reviews. Although, the reviews were ok. I gave them a shot because it said Authentic. I have family that are Asian and grew up off Asian cuisine. This was very bland and intact with my expectations….the most disappointing part was that I took about 3-4 bites of my meal and there was hair in it. Yes!!! The absolute worse. If it wasnt pouring raining and about 15 min from my home..I would drive back out there. The few bites were awful and I threw the whole meal away!!!!

This is hands down the best Chinese in the state of Delaware. Food is clean and fresh. It is always delicious and the people who own the place are super nice! Generous portions, REALLY GOOD food, and decent prices. My favorite take out!

First time order for delivery today and the entire experience was terrible. The woman who took my order read it back to me and somehow forgot our two cans of iced tea. There were a lot of issues with the food. Most of it was barely edible. Appetizers were very greasy. The dough around the dumplings was undercooked on the inside and the outside was hard and unedible. The boneless spare ribs were 80% pure fat. These guys didn’t try to cut any of the fat off! Unedible. The shrimp and broccoli was ok. Not great. Just good. Eat At Your Own Risk!

I like Mee Garden better than most Chinese takeout in the area. The Crownery gets all the press but Mee Garden has more flavorful food and the folks are nice, hard working people. Nothing fancy but pretty good.
