Driving by this place looks like a nice restaurant. Once we were in we noticed that was really crowded inside only a few tables available. We’re placed in the back of the restaurant nice cozy table for 2. The menu was the most large Italian menu which you would expect in a regular pizza shop they offered wood fired pizza, As well as run your pizza you can only get the wood pizza in 12″. Menu also includes some Mexican dishes and they have Mexican Monday. We decided to share the lobster soup Is a 12″wood fired meat lover’s pizza and Cheese steak with fried onions. The soup was delicious Is nice chunks of lobster the Is cheese steak was on the soft roll, If you were going to order to go I would be worried that the juices from the steak would ruin the roll. The pizza was cooked well still soft And the ham overflavored the pie, I would suggest not having ham on my pizza. The staff were really friendly

This was our first time there. The entire staff was pleasant and attentive. Caitlin was our server. She answered our questions and was helpful with the kinds of pasta that I could choose. Young Jack was very observant and noticed when my lemonade glass was empty and asked if I wanted a refill. He took our salad plates away promptly and politely.

So far this has been the best pizza we have found since moving to Newtown. The crust is a medium thin giving it a crusty exterior but still a soft edge. The pies are served in one size. There are lots of choices for everyone. Our white pie was exceptionally created and wood fired to perfection. So if you are looking for a good traditional wood fired pizza that isn’t modified with some bad idea, I think you will enjoy Meglio Pizzeria. Sometimes simple is just better.
