As you are driving on Highway 70 and if you were to sneeze you would pass up and miss Fort Thomas & that would be a tragedy because there’s a great little restaurant and store named Megs. As you look at it on the outside you do not think a lot about it because it Blends in with the surroundings but once you go inside Meg’s you will truly be impressed it is like you go into another world it is beautiful inside and the food is outstanding. I was amazed at how many different things that caught my attention and I wound up spending an extra 20 minutes after eating looking at all the cool decor inside of Meg’s I would definitely recommend this 110% to everybody traveling through going to Safford or globe

Well worth the short drive. Food is always fresh and hot, good portion sizes, fries are the best around. Apache burger and diablo burgers so good. Wife gets the burro says it delicious as well.

All travelers need to stop here for at least a brownie! Did you know all their brownies are corners? We also got a sugar cookie….I mean the perfect soft sugar cookie. And I heard someone say the Cinnamon Rolls are sweet and the Peach punch is excellent. They have a small boutique with cute stuff. The staff is so friendly. Thank you.

I absolutely love Meg’s! Everything on the menu is just stellar! I have yet to be disappointed. Usually the place isn’t too busy though there’s a bit of a lunch rush when the nearby school gets out for lunch. Great atmosphere and outstanding service though!

I’m a truck driver and found this place by accident when I-10 was shut down, and we got diverted. I’m so glad this place had truck “parking”. It’s a dirt lot that could fit 5-8 trucks just adjacent to a post office.

We stopped here on May 27th, 2021. It was wonderful and clean and the staff and owners are so friendly! They have a beer cooler and are more than just a diner. I felt like I was in a quick service Cracker Barrel. There are unique bookshelves for selling custom and local items.
