I wanted to love this place soooo bad! Let me start off by saying that this was my first time trying out this place would always pass it and today decided to try it. Big mistake ! I ordered the turkey necks w/ yams and Mac n cheese with a side of cabbage. Truly disappointing not to mention my cousin with me ordered the exact same thing. Rice was undercooked , yams were undercooked, and cabbage tasted as if there were pickled. Food was supposedly made to order but tasted as if it wasn’t. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone until the get some better cooks in the kitchen.

So far so good, staff was nice and very welcoming. It was saturday morning and there were no customers in the place. The floor was dirty with food crumbs. This place has seen better days but it is what it is. I have no problem coming to a place like this if the service is great. Prices are reasonable so that is a plus. This place has had horrible reviews on other sites so we decided to try it and judge for ourselves. Food took a while but that is not always a bad thing. I was however surprised to see dried parsley used as a garnish. I ordered a ribeye and eggs and got a tbone and eggs. Steak was seasoned well. Nothing extra special not sure if we will be back but no real complaints

I heard such good news about this place, but I was blown away by how salty the food was, and it hurt my feelings because I was expecting some good food. My family also ate here, and their food was so salty we had to drink a lot of water. After now, I don’t mean no harm, but a huge cutback on salt would be very welcomed. I pray for the future of your business and hope no one has a medical emergency because of the salt .

Today is 09/06/22 my visit was about 3weeks ago. All I remember is, that the dressing taste like stove top and they charge $29 for a chitterling plate. Shoulda known it was super high when someone asked on Fb how much and she said she didn’t know her cashier wasn’t in. Really! Never again….
