This is a great seafood restaurant located in downtown Lake Wales. We tried a variety of items, and everything was very good. It’s one of the few seafood restaurants in the area that serves Manhattan Clam Chowder. Our server was very friendly and did a great job, too.

My friends and I go to Melanie’s on a frequent basis. The hometown/ family owned environment is good for the soul and so is the food. The staff is so friendly and every dish I have had at this restaurant has been top notch and you can tell everything is cooked fresh! We will continue to return and tell all of our friends about this little Lake Wales Gem! Pictured is the Salmon plate with sweet potato fries, the lightly battered 1/2 lb shrimp with French fries, and chocolate cake! I also highly recommend the Fish Rueben!

Super cute little place for lunch in downtown Lake Wales – salads were so fresh and delicious – everyone working there was kind and friendly! Brought my niece and they gave her coloring pages on Saturdays the Farmer’s Market is around the corner and fun to walk ☀️☀️☀️

This was the perfect lunch for a breezy hot day! We loved our delicious Po boy, creamy slaw, sweet mustard based potato salad and amazingly satisfying chilled lobster roll! Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, small, cozy restaurant, limited parking in front, but plenty more just around the corner, will definitely keep coming back for more!

LOVE eating here! It’s close to home, the service has always been great and the food has never been less than phenomenal! The tuna appetizer was just the way we like it, lightly seared & although the Wasabi sauce was delicious, I really enjoyed the milder chili sauce! Our server was very sweet and attentive but not overbearing so that we could enjoy our meals! Dinner was served piping hot and it didnt take forever to arrive!

Delightful! Servers so friendly & helpful, good excellent. Lobster rolls, shrimp cocktail, mussels with Rosemary bread & fish spread. Dessert was a key lime pie. We had a wonderful time.

Went for lunch during the week after visiting Bok Tower. I definitely did not expect much, but we were very impressed! The prices are pretty steep, but the portions are huge. The smoked fish dip was very good. The lobster roll had a lot of lobster, but it was pretty tough and very pricey (which I understand). Will go back but order something other than the lobster roll.
