Not the typical/expected Mellow experience. Surface area of the crust on two small pizzas was larger than than the area of toppings. Not cool when your paying $15+ for a small pizza. $7 for Mich Ultra? Service is a joke with waitresses that sit around chatting or staring at their phones rather than doing their job. Warning: They become agitated when you don’t tip more than 20% on your overpriced and not spectacular “meal”. We usually love Mellow and are happy to pay up for their normal pizza and service, but I’d encourage you to pass on this one.

We ordered online for curbside pickup. When we went to pick it up, nobody would answer the phone. They just let it ring for ten minutes. Finally my husband went in and got it and it was sitting right there. Pretzel bites aren’t really pretzels bites. Just tastes like their pizza crust. We won’t order those again. Balls of the same dough as the crust does not equal pretzel bites. Very misleading. Pizzas were okay but my small holy shiitake pizza was under baked and didn’t have much cheese or mushrooms. I don’t know if we’d try it again. Definitely not up to par with mellow mushrooms in other cities.

Has been a family go to for YEARS! Summer time and weekends can stay pretty busy but the staff is always doing their best to get everyone in and out! The menu has something for the whole family do no one leaves disappointed! Keep up the good work Oconee team! We got the new south side wings and they are SOOOOOO GOOD a must try and the pretzel bites with a spicy beer cheese! Yummmmm

Well, should have heeded to the reviews. Never been to this Mellow location but we love others so went to celebrate our sons 16th bday while in town. Booths were full so we were seated at a high top in the bar area. I watched the staff clean the table, but when we sat down we were, well, grossed out by the stickiness of the table. Asked the waitress and she said “promise it’s clean, it’s the finish!” Strike one. A glue trap of a table at a restaurant. What could be wrong with that? So I spread a napkin out so my arms wouldn’t stick every time I touched it. Ordered the triple meatballs and 2 medium pizzas. Water. After a somewhat delayed wait, the meatballs showed. Looked great, tasted great, but were lukewarm at best. If the waitress had showed back up we would have asked for it to have been warmed, but she dropped and ran. Strike two. Finally our pizzas showed, we had to juggle the meatball plates that were left and never cleared. And here goes on the pizza. Everyone is right about them being raw, uncooked. They look fabulous, so kudos to the pizza makers. And they do taste just fine. BUT, they’re not cooked. The table we were sitting at had a direct view of the pizza oven. The top conveyor must be broken cause it’s not in use. So the staff is cramming everything on the bottom conveyor. I’m not a pizza oven expert, but it’s clear this oven is broken. The pizza is warm at best. I can only hope that all the toppings they use are pre-cooked. Cause if they’re not, then it’s a wonder no one has gotten I’ll from their pizza. I asked the waitress when she finally showed back up at the end of the meal, and she had the same response that the owner has provided to prior reviews. They can cook it longer if you like a crispier pie. That’s not the issue… It was close to closing time, so I guess that’s why she didn’t offer us to see a dessert menu. Which of course, would have been the time we would have informed her we were celebrating a 16th bday. Oh well, dessert elsewhere. Strike 3.

Met a friend for a meal and drinks. We were sat quickly- they didn’t appear busy; just before dinner rush. Tables in the dining room were cleaned and waiting for customers to arrive. First booth we were seated at was underneath a large air vent; after 2 minutes of the air blowing on us… we requested to move. Our server was extremely understanding and assisted us to another booth.

I usually love mellow mushroom but they messed up today. I paid $11 for spinach artichoke dip and they hardly gave me any in the bowl. They used to give a bigger serving. It’s overpriced for the quantity that you receive. luckily I ordered this for two. If I had ordered this for a bigger group, I would have been more upset.

I have to been to a Mellow Mushroon in forever so I was almost excited to go. Turned out the pizza was awesome ( best Maui Pizza I’ve ever had), the waitress was super awesome, the beer was cold and the atmosphere was nice. Although I’ve moved on from that area, I’d definitely go back if I were in the area. Great job at that location #mellowmushroom

I placed on online order with Mellow Mushroom Lake Oconee. When I arrived to pick up the order, there was a couple in front of me, so I was patiently waiting, as I was the next person in line. Two people walked in after me and one of the workers from the back walked up and immediately directed her attention to the people that walked in after me, as if I wasn’t standing there and that did not set well with me. I addressed the situation, another worker went directly in defense mode, stating that they didn’t know who was there first, ok I can under stand that, but all you had to do was ask, but you didn’t and you went in defense mode. The cashier was on the phone and never acknowledged anything. But I must add, that I was the only person of color waiting (imagine that). So my question is, how would that make you feel? Managers educate your staff. IJS

I usually enjoy mellow mushroom, me and my girlfriend love getting a pizza from here about once a month to share. But the last two times we have gone have been disappointing. The staff hardly checks on you, and last night our pizza was basically a thin crust with no crust on it. It is just upsetting that you spend money and the quality of the food changes each visit.
