Food was great as well as service! Food came out pretty fast. Not sure whether this matters but another great thing I liked about the restaurant was that they have a lot of beef options for those that don’t eat pork. Most Italian places are heavy on the pork side.

Very warm welcome upon entering this establishment. The host and waitress were quite kind. I ordered the Ravioli with Bolognese, which is a meat based tomato sauce sprinkled with parmasean cheese. I also ordered the garlic bread. Prices are very reasonable. I will be returning.

Googled quiet restaurants near me to find a place to recharge and get a few things done. Enjoyed my meal and especially the tiramisu. Appreciated the tablecloth and cosy atmosphere.

We only are able to come twice a year (Valentines & our anniversary) because we live an hour and 20 mins away but no matter how much we spend or how casual we are dressed (currently tshirt and blue jeans with ball caps) we are treated like a millionaires! Curly and the staff are pleasant and accommodating…not to mention all with a a smile in theirs eyes (COVID…masks). Highly recommend reservations, they usually don’t make same day reservations. This place is the triangle’s hidden gem. Always packed always great food, always good service…always.

We met here for lunch and had an incredible time. From the quality of the customer service to the quality of the food, it was all superb. I would highly recommend everyone try this hidden Durham gem.

Great food and service. Seated promptly and food arrived quickly. Got 2 tapas; lamb chops are yummy and the mushrooms in cream/ butter sauce are a nice addition to them. Hubby got the lasagna and enjoyed it more with every bite. He was full 3/4 through it but insisted on finishing it cause it tasted so good. Its right off of Rt. 85. It’s worth the stop for a good meal.

The owner was very welcoming and gave us a short cultural. Waitress was very kind with answering our questions. Food was great and will return again in the winter.

Good spot featuring a number of pasta dishes as well as a tapas menu, a number of entrees, and salads. The tapas items are very good, but it is a fairly limited tapas menu with a few items being things I really wouldn’t consider tapas. Several really good items though. Pasta dishes are good and big. Entrees are good too. Not necessarily spectacular, like pasta not made in house, but good comfort food. Space itself is nice enough despite being in strip mall. Not fancy by any means, but it has a nice welcoming feel. Service is attentive. I wouldn’t put this restaurant on same level as say Gocciolina, but it is good food. Kid friendly as well.

Updated Review! My wife and I stopped eating here about 2 months ago because the service was pretty bad and when you’re spending well over $50 for two, you want decent service. Decided to give then one more try and was pleasantly surprised! The service was much improved and there were more staff. The food here is excellent and delicious. Our tilapia based entrees were perfect! The lemon butter sauce makes the fish or chicken pop! Sauteed veggies were fantastic and their Italian cabernet is wonderful! Keep up the good work and we will be back soon!
