Nice place. We ate here today because we were aiming for something a little smaller, quiet and different from the usual stuff and we’re pleasantly surprised with everything. Our burgers were amazing, service came with a smile, atmosphere was pulled right out of the 60s and magical. Even the prices were pretty great! We will be back!

Small quirky diner with lots of old school vibes. Loved the Elvis decor & old car photos.

Mel’s is always fantastic, but was particularly good on this visit. I believe they have a new grill cook. I ordered flo’s breakfast special and it is a sizeable meal at an affordable price.(not quite as good a deal in 2023)

I love the western omelette it was good the cook is good at what he does The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. I will give them a 5 star rating. I got my food Togo and went back for another helping of biscuits and gravy. My loved them.

I don’t understand the great reviews unless they were made my friends and family. The food was not very good. My husband had a hamburger and it was super thin. My club only had ham no turkey. Tomato was good. The service was weird bordering on rude. All the “locals” were treated friendly and pleasantly. We were treated as if we were bothering them, by the waitress and cashier. I just couldn’t figure it our. Sad

Stopped for breakfast/brunch. Not much room in the parking lot for a truck and pontoon, but there’s a school lot across the road we were able to park in. Very small place so our party of 6 sat outside on a lovely picnic table with an umbrella. Nice menu with great prices. Service was personable and wonderful. Food was absolutely delicious! Everything cooked to order and timing was decent even though they were really busy and had a waiting line. Definitely enjoyed this stop!

We stopped in a few weeks back on our road trip. We didn’t want to eat at a chain. So glad we found Mel’s on google. We don’t know how Mel does it but we had the best hamburgers and fries ever! Our server was really sweet, too! Thank you!

Good food, great price, and a real railcar diner atmosphere. This is obviously a standard stop for a lot of locals, and was serendipity for me.
