Good prices. Quick service. The Monte Cristo was delicious. The fries seem to have a bit of batter on them. The store was clean. Their is seating inside and outside at the picnic tables in the back. The others at my table really liked the burgers. The prices were good for the area. I would go again.

I have visited this location for 40 years. The name may change but the food has always been great. Skip the fast food at the 2 exits for Beaver and go here. I promise you will love the food, the people and outdoor dining. Have a dog, need a rest stop for dog. The yard in back is heaven for doggie.

The service we received was very helpful and friendly. I was worried based on other reviews, but the person we worked with was great. The food took a bit, but that was expected since it is made to order. Our shakes came out with the food as well. I enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Shared a double double and an order of fries. Really good. Had them to go but decided to eat at one of the picnic tables in the grassy area in back of the place. Excellent atmosphere! If you’re ever in Beaver, Utah, Mel’s is a great place to grab some grub.

Small place we stopped at for food since the Diner up the road wanted 20$ for a sandwich, we got 3 burgers for 25 bucks they were probably the best burgers and shake I’d had in years, I was having a pretty awful day too and the food here genuinely cheered me up. I recommend anyone to stop by here, if I ever pass back up on the way I wont forget to stop by again.

The food was good, but the service was terrible! We went at 7pm and they had all the chairs up on the tables, so there was no where to sit with a crowd of 14 people there. The staff was very cold and uninviting as we placed our orders and as they brought our food. We would have hoped for a better welcoming in such a small town!

We try to hit the local places when we’re on a road trip. I don’t think we’ll hit this one again. Appearance was 4 stars. It’s a great small town burger place. Had the look and feel you’d expect. The staff that we saw were high school kids. Totally expect that at this type of place. They weren’t that friendly or attentive which was a downer. We came in and it took a while for some one to come to the counter. Felt like he’d never taken and order from someone that wasn’t intimately familiar with their menu. While we were eating another family came in and waited for a while at the counter. They actually came over and asked how long it took for our food. Told them it took over 30 minutes for ours. They decided to just leave. Still nobody at the counter when they walked out.So 2 stars for the service. The food was fine, not great. We had a mixture of burgers, chicken sandwiches and chicken fingers. I always expect great food at these places. I figure they’re small and can do a better job on quality. Not so much here It’s what you’d expect from a place that just cooks what they get from their food supplier. 2 stars on that. We did a shake and that was ok, 3 stars on that. So overall, it was fine. Friendlier staff would’ve pushed my review to 3 stars. Next time I think we’ll just hit one of the chain places off the free way. Which makes me sad.
