Melt Coffee is an espresso bar and coffee shop inside the fabulous Howlin Wind Brewery. Launched at the end of 2021, the offers small-batch, hand roasted coffee and espresso drinks, grab-and-go snacks, and high mountain hospitality.
With easy access right off Hwy 119, a lovely indoor seating area, and scenic valley views of James Peak, Melt is the perfect stop on your way to or from all the incredible winter activities Colorado has to offer. We’re open 7a-3p Monday, Thursday, and Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8a-5p.
Stop in and say hello on your way to the big resorts off I70 or drop by after a jaunt on our fantastic local trail system. We’re happy to warm you up with a fresh creamy cup to fuel your journey!

Coffee was on point and one of the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t get the gentleman’s name behind the coffee shop counter, but that man definitely knows how to whip up a good coffee!. Everything was homemade and could be customized. The atmosphere was inviting- the shop does share a location with a brewery so get your coffee in the am and come back for a beer in the pm. Looked like a great place to hang out with friends.

What a great shop for coffee, breakfast burritos, and pastries! Super chill vibe and very kid and dog friendly (games, dog toys, and dog water bowl). Darin, the owner and barista, is so nice and gave us lots of good recommendations. Can’t wait to come back next time!
