My guest and I arrived right at 8:00pm. The restaurant seemed to be about 30% occupied. We were seated immediately, we chose the inside rather than the outdoor patio. In less than two minutes our server Nicole came to the table. We ordered beverages. The beverages arrived quickly. We were not ready to order. Nicole gave us a few more minutes. I ordered the pasta Florentine, my guest ordered the corned beef Reuben. Our meals were delivered within ten minutes. While Nicole was very attentive before our meals arrived, she did not revisit to ensure the meals were as expected. The good news, our meals were both great.

I been to Meltons for decades!! Great food, servers and atmosphere! You can get together with friends and catch football games or any other sports! Love it!! Definitely check it out if you are in the area!

I visited Melton’s for the first time today because I read a review saying they had good burgers. I ended up getting the Italian sandwich special which was good. The Irish nachos were also very good and very filling. I did not like the potato salad, it was mayo based and May have been miracle whip. I’m not sure.

Melton’s is one of the essential Atlanta taverns. The staff is solid, though some servers are more gun than others. The food is quality pub grub. The creole pasta, better burger, and tuna melt are favorites.

We like this place. I will say that it used to be better before Covid. It is a staple neighborhood restaurant with beer and wine.

Fun neighborhood sports bar that is kid friendly and often full of families after a day at nearby Medlock Park. Can be noisy when busy but always good food with lots of choices on the menu.

Very nice, cozy place to sit at the bar for a beer and a sandwich. Friendly, helpful staff. Ordered the Italian Hoagie and Italian Beef sandwich. The Hoagie was fresh and quite tasty. My only complaint was the bread really didn’t have the authentic NE Hoagie crusty on the outside, soft on the inside. Consider something like white Publix sub roll. The Italian Beef bread was better and it came out nice and hot, but honestly it lacked any special seasoning, kind of bland. Fries and side salad were excellent. We’ll definitely be back but will try other things on the menu.

The burger was average but disappointing after taking into account the rave reviews. My sweet potato fries were limp and lukewarm. I had hoped for better.

Location is not showy. A nice corner in Decatur, near Emory. Founders KBS often in stock. A 100 on Beer Advocate. Grown Up Grilled Cheese is superb. Irish Wedding Soup, yummmm. It’s a favorite spot for me now and I will return!
