Just the basics here. Great hometown cooking without the frills. Creamer, those are flavored. Half and half? Nope, it’s powdered. The coffee is typical cafe quality, not great, but drinkable. I ordered the Western omelette. It was quite large and was full of ham and veggies. The hash browns or excellent and the toast was buttered nicely. My friend ordered a side of bacon and it was delicious. Friendly staff.

Food is always fresh and good. Salad bar is great and nice to have in a small community! Quick service and cheery attitudes. Reasonable prices.

My own experience at this place was very detailed. If you have any questions ask your local guide Mike Sechler, or maybe Mike Blanc or Mike wood or Mike selk pretty sure one of those guys is a local guide.

I was here on the evening of the 18th of March and I was discriminated by the owner as I was leaving this restaurant after eating. I was told not to return with my Dog. My dog is a Service Dog. By ADA LAW she goes where I go. He told me that if I did return with my Service Dog he said he would not serve me. That is called discrimination on a person with a Service Dog. He also said he didn’t need Dog hair in his food in the kitchen. (My Service Dog is a poodle, she don’t shed. Plus I keep her very clean.) I’d be more worried about getting human hair in the food, since I seen NO ONE IN THE KITCHEN WEARING A HAIRNET. INCLUDING THE OWNER. I was in this restaurant on March 2 and had know problem. I called the Nebraska ADA office and they called him. He said my Service Dog was barking and was disturbing the customers and I wasn’t correcting her. My Service Dog was not barking. He lied to the lady that called him on this. My Service Dog was under the table the whole time we were there except when I went to the salad bar, returning to the table she went back under the table. I also know 5 of the customers in this restaurant on that night. And if they lie then they are not good Christians. I don’t think they would lie, I just don’t see them lying. If you treat me different then other customers you are violenting the ADA LAW. I would then have the rite to sue this restaurant. I like this restaurant, I don’t want to sue you, but I will if I have to.

The salad bar was great, lots of favorites. The spaghetti special was also very good, just like mom made. And the service was fantastic. I worked on my laptop and had a great lunch at a great cafe.

Very good meals for a local cafe and the staff is very friendly and responsive. Large portion sizes and well cooked. They have also done a good job of making the atmosphere friendly. Good selection from specialty coffee to fresh donuts to very good sandwiches / burgers.
