Mendocino Farms is great especially this location. Parking is easy most of the time and the food is great. The staff are very attentive and helpful. Not standing around. It can get quite busy so if you are in a rush I recommend ordering ahead. Seating can be a problem at times. The sandwiches are a great hit especially for the price. When you compare to a similar option such as Panera Bread, Mendocino Farms is leaps and bounds ahead both in quality and portions sizes to price. Definitely would recommend

Most people already know about Mendocino Farms (aka Mendo) but for those of you that do not here’s a quick intro/personal opinion from me: Mendo is a great place for lunch, covered patio, AC cooled inside seating and friendly staff. Regardless of how busy it is, it will always look like it’s busy inside because the staff is doing a lot to make the place clean and topped off in every way. Napkins holders are full, drink dispensers are never empty for anything longer than 10 – 20 minutes, staff is always available to answer questions or help get containers, food is always sourced from environmentally aware locations, menus are labeled with info for Gluten-free, Vegan and other dietary restrictions and it tastes delicious. None of the food isn’t going to taste exactly compared to the actual dishes from a store that just serves those dishes or sandwiches but I feel like that’s mainly because of the sauces and how Mendo chooses flavors, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t taste delicious. At this location they have lemonade infused with different favors that were really good (rose lemonade, turmeric and lemongrass lemonade and a green power lemonade with ginger, celery and other goodies). My wife ordered the Smoky Chicken Elote Bowl and I got the Pork Belly Banh Mi. There were a few small things that were pointed out with both dishes (pork belly was a little more fatty/oily that my wife would have liked and the chicken breast was a little dry in the Elote bowl) but they were still really good and the perfect amount to fill you up for lunch without having to make you take a nap before getting back to work. Again, super nice staff and they are good and fast at what they do. Gotta say it was a nice lunch date today. Also the last item that we enjoyed was no more table numbers, you take your receipt scan a QR code on the table and type your order number for the staff to know where to bring you food.

Came for lunch with come colleagues and it was packed! We got the last table outside, I wish they would have better fans so it wouldn’t be as hot. As for the food/ drinks. I got a rose lemonade and it was VERY sour, I had to add a lot of water it the drink. The rose flavor and sour lemonade seemed to be fighting over which flavor was most powerful and both were winning. As for the sandwich, I ordered the chicken pesto caprese and overall it was good. Unfortunately the bread was a little soggy from the sauces but overall had good flavor. I asked for their salsa verde and that had 0 spice to it which was disappointing.

Expensive sandwich at $11.80 for the not so fried chicken sandwich. However, it has to be one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. It comes with 2 sauces, a bbq and a mustard, I opted for the mustard. It has freshly sliced tomatoes, and some kind of slaw. The chicken was done perfectly, very soft and moist. It is definitely a must try.

So today I will do a review of Mendicino Farms. This is a sandwich restaurant and of course they have other menu items as well…chips..salads…etc…so I am not going to rip it apart too bad…the food has been very good the 2 times I have been here…I get the avo turkey verde sandwich…it is filling …I recommend it…ok now the not so good part…well today I was really looking forward to the lemonade…it is tops…I guess others think so too…it was sold out…now is that because of people going back for 2nds or 3rds? Or becuase people are able to get small plastic glasses which are for water but really sneaking lemonade? Or they just did not stock up…Idk….so I had to get a can of coke which ran 2.65…with no refill…like I said it’s a good place…dont get me wrong but maybe rethink the drink service…dont let things run out…dont let people get refill after refill…maybe 2 the most as the glasses are a medium size…and dont let the small plastic glasses b used for anything except water… I give this place 8 out of 10…just becuase of the missing lemonade…get that and u get a 10…
