This place exceeded all my expectations. Spicy miso and their signature shoyu ramen were absolutely divine. The broths were rich & flavorful, the noodles perfectly cooked and the toppings delightful. While the atmosphere was just average, their great ramen more than made up for it. Highly recommend!

WOW the flavor of this ramen is insane AND it was chicken, not pork. this is an amazing bowl of ramen- on par with ramen in japan. we got the spicy shoyu and the classic shoyu… both were excellent! the noodles were perfectly springy & chewy and the broth was rich and soul-warming. the egg was stellar- definitely worth adding on. I was blown away by this ramen, and definitely will be back! This has become of my new favorite ramen spots in the city.

Absolutely best Ramen in NYC from a vegetarian perspective. Love that we have almost as many options to choose from as meat based. Brilliant flavors and a very good variety. Specially if you love spice! Highly recommend the spicy Miso and the curry ramen! Very fast service as well! Great setup, perfect for a ramen shop! Overall a very good experience!

Been here a few times and have tried several different ramen. Curry ramen is very rich but tasty, the spicy ramen is very oily but also tasty. But the best one that I’d tried is their signature shoyu ramen, very rich broth and nice toppings. Definitely recommend trying that first if you’re to come.

I had a lunch with my Japanese friend today at Menkoi Sato. He recommended this place. We ordered fried chicken and ramens. Chicken was very hot and super juicy. It’s much bigger than other Japanese karaage I had before so it is definitely fulfilling. I love their chewy noodles and the Shoyu soup was thick and very yum. It’s a little salty but it’s soy-sauce based so that is totally expected. The ramen was very hot and kept me warm under the cold weather in February. The Chasu pork was very tender and it melted in my mouth. My friend ordered spicy miso ramen and he loved it. I highly recommend this place.
