Where the locals eat. No fancy decor but the food and service were excellent. Sweet tea and country fried steak was amazing and fried chicken sandwich was very good. Ended up talking to the owner for most of our meal and nearly everyone that walked in the door he greeted on a first name basis.

While traveling through the area we stopped at Menlo Restaurant and we had a very good meal and very good service. The building is a little dated but looks like it is clean and well managed . This is a very small town in a rural area. It is at parity with other restaurants in the area. I recommend it.

We drive an hr every so often just to eat here. It’s always worth the drive an never disappoints. Food is great and the customer service is on point. I highly recommend the chili. We did it twice in one day this day for breakfast and dinner.
