Spend’n & Eat’n Living Da Life
I live really close by this restaurant, and my two favorite items on the menu are the lamb tacos and the cheese enchiladas with red sauce plate. I haven’t tried anything else, but these two dishes are good to me. The enchiladas have cactus on them in them according to the menu and that was my 1st time tasting cactus and it’s good. The lamb tacos are decent and different, I grew up eating lamb so I’ve had it different ways by several different cultures, and I noticed the Hispanic doesn’t do much to theirs, it has minimal flavor, and I have had bones in mines a few times which I didn’t like, because as I chew I had to take food out my mouth a few times because of the bones in the lamb meat, which shouldn’t be any bones in the meat at all! The only reason I give 4 star is because of that and I have to put my own cilantro & onion on my tacos, I wish they’d done it for me.

Excellent service – waitress was very friendly and made excellent suggestions. Food was also excellent, tacos were simple but delicious and I could have tarted them up if I wanted to. The Gorditas were delicious and my friend was bold enough to try the “Pancita” or Tripe, and liked it although he preferred the Barbacoa. Free chips were nice but the free salsa was stunning

Most delicious authentic Mexican food in Michiana for sure! The tacos are amazing, I would highly reccomend the Tacos de Barbacoa or lengua. If you order the menudo, be sure to ask for the hand made torrillas! The atmosphere was great and service was amazing as well! This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant Forewarning, it is a little small but they accommodate with adding tables.

Food was not at all good and they didn’t give me tortillas for my birria or menudo I ordered , who eats those two kinds of dishes without tortillas? Extremely overpriced as well, this is the kind of business that likes to take advantage of the customer. And during a pandemic nobody was wearing a mask the workers or customers that were eating in. Gave a one star since no option for no stars, definitely not returning.
