I had a very tasty meal at Menya Sushi Bar the other day and I’ve been meaning to post a review for some time and here it is. They had a lot of options to choose from and I decided to try Sushi Combo and Chef’s Special plus Niku Udon. They were delicious and I almost wanted to order more if I was not full. I would definitely come back again to try other meals and would recommend this restaurant to everyone I know.

We came in for lunch on a Friday, there were about 3 other tables. Service was really slow as there was only one waiter running the food, getting drinks, and taking orders. We ordered the lunch special but ended up ordering another roll due to not liking the chefs sushi special. My husband order spicy ramen which came out 20+ minutes after my entire meal. He loved it and said it was worth the wait. We would come back here but overall the slow service made me take a star off.

Enjoyed the Hulk roll and unagi (my dessert). Not far from the Highline Canal trail (ride there by ebike). Tasted the Kobe beef roll and sat by the fish tank. They need to take better care of their fish in the tank (they’re showing signs of stress and aggression/attacks by other fish in the tank). Staff was very friendly, too. Would have preferred getting all dishes served roughly at the same time (had to wait several minutes between servings). Would go back.

We came in at 4pm on a Friday. There was one other couple there. We waited about 5 mins as the waiter went to the other table approx 4 times never once acknowledging us. We have gone there often and usually get great prompt service by a female waitress yet not today there was a male waiter. I could understand if it was busy but there was only 4 of us.

Me and my girlfriend were in town for a quick visit and accidentally found this hidden gem at a strip mall. Initially we were looking for a ramen place to get a quick bite for lunch, but we ended up ordering some tempura and sushi on top of the big bowl of ramen that we shared cuz everything just looked SO GOOD on the menu. To no one’s surprise, the taste is just as impressive as the presentation. In fact, it was such a good experience that we went back for another round for dinner the same day! Needless to say the owner was pleasantly surprised to see us again so soon but we ordered more of the delicious sushi and ebi katsu.
