We were promptly greeted as we walked in. Then the greeter asked if she could help us. Which was strange since this is a restaurant obviously we were there to eat. Anyway, she directed us to a table and told us when we were ready that we had to go to the bar and order. Even though there were at least 3 other employees who were just standing by the greeter visiting, again, I was confused.

Went to Mequon Pizza Company for the first time. I walked in the door and was met with a “how can I help you?”. I said “uh. I’m here to eat”. The server said I can pick any table, so I did. I waited and waited. Then figured out I had to walk up to the bar to place my order. Bartender was super nice. Food was brought to the table. Ordered cheese sticks and a pepperoni pizza. Cheese sticks were not great, not good either. Just flat, bland dough with cheese on top. Certainly not what I was expecting, nor for the price either. Pizza was burnt on the outside. Some bits and pieces were tasty but overall, it lacked flavor and anything to set itself apart from a frozen pizza I could get any other night. Much likes others have stated, no one came to check on me or ask how the food was. I wasn’t even sure how to pay but…you have to walk back up to the bar to pay. The owner took care of me then, but had an attitude. I will not be back.

Lovey lil local spot with very tasy Italian offering…pizza is the favorite but we ordered pasta and it was fantastic. Ordering at the bar was odd while seated but overall service wasn’t bad and the food was very good.

This is a family favorite place for us. However, their beer selection is outstanding, eclectic and sometimes even rare (think KBS when KBS wasn’t a shelf item). The pizza and crust is fantastic and their cheesy garlic bread does not disappoint. Support and love this local business!

This would not stop me from going , just wish they would quote the correct timing. Last two times,pizza order took almost 20-25 minutes LONGER than the 45 minutes first quoted. Love the food.

Fantastic pizza. Great atmosphere. 3 big tv’s for sports. Friendly staff. Great selection of tap beer as well as bottle beer. The ribs are also very good. Be sure to order at the bar.

This is mostly a word of advice….when a customer asks for a menu and you are the owner let the customer know that muliple items on the menu are not available….I looked at the menu while having a beer picked out a good dinner to only be told it is not available as they pointed to a white board that has wine and beers listed. I was then disappointed in the whole dinner, thus the one star….specially when you are the owner.

I love this restaurant. Whenever I go I get a large pizza with onions, peppers and sausage (shared with someone of course) and it is amazing! Haven’t tried many other things, but have heard they are great as well! Would definitely recommend going and trying it out!
