Delicious breakfast. Highly recommend the steak tacos, chorizo scramble and chocolate biscuit.

The good was good quality. My turkey sandwich was fresh roasted turkey and the chips were great! I did regret not getting the burger because it looked so good. My dad had it and said it was delicious. My mom really liked the pretzel bun on her ham sandwich. My only complaint would be that there are not many menu choices and I think more than half were vegetarian and/or salads. Overall we liked the rustic atmosphere. The food was good. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

had brunch here a few weeks ago and it was great. It is a really cool building/atmosphere. Portion sizes were big/perfect and the food was tasty. Mimosas were awesome and I loved the apple juice mimosa option..very tasty!

We waited a while for our food even though the restaurant was not crowded. My snapper was room temperature and salty. The brisket tacos were dry and the wings had no flavor. The portion sizes are not worth the price they charge. To end on a positive note, the pimento cheese toast was the best thing we ate and they had good drinks.

Went for brunch today; didn’t know if we were going to Foode or Mercantile. I asked when we got there & found out they used to be separate businesses that shared the building; now they just split the day; Mercantile isn’t the morning, Foode in the evening. Brunch was great, my wife had the omelette of the day/week and I had the biscuits & gravy since the waitress informed us that it is only available on the brunch menu. Everything was fantastic; the staff was energetic & friendly. Very very satisfied with the experience, quality, quantity, & price.

This farm to table has potential, but it didn’t come together for me. Ingredients were fresh and menu/wine list very interesting/different. However, the dishes didn’t come together – the salad had too much salt and the grits I expected to standout and be more flavorful. Pimento bread was great. Also, service was mediocre. Everything took longer than what I am used to at good restaurants. After I finished my first glass of wine, no one asked me – do you want more? The lady was walking around, but missed an opportunity to sell me more and I would have said yes! It is also pricier for what we got. Hope they can improve a few things and I will be back.

I’m not sure if this was renamed but the sign on the front was called Foode. The bartender stated its all the same food, so? The interior was lively and due to this building being a old bank very unique. You could dine in the old bank vault if you wanted.

The outside says “Foode” so keep a lookout for that!

Probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I don’t live in Fredericksburg and happened to stop there last year. The cinnamon roll/sticky bun I’ve ever had. I stopped again the other day on my way home to New Jersey and the first time wasn’t a fluke. The best breakfast I’ve ever had.

Went to brunch with 3 friends. We all got different things and no complaints. Delicious. Good portion sizes. Yummy drinks. I had the infused vinegar drink, and it pleasantly surprised me.
