The pork sandwich was amazing, fresh, hot, tender, and with sweet potato fries. Lava cake for dessert, which is just a basic store bought lava cake but good. The service was attentive and friendly.. Will be back

We stopped in for dinner on Weds, it was not too busy! We had a great server greet us and take our drink order quickly. The service is almost always pretty good. I didn’t pay attention whe my my wife ordered her food and we it came out, we had basically ordered the same thing. We got the surf and turf but it is kinda red neck surf and turf. It has a steak cooked to order, catfish nuggets and a choice of side. She got tater tots and I got fries. They at least one other potato option. The food came out pretty timely and was good. There are lots of TV’s with random sports and even a monster truck show on this particular night. We had good, great service and a pleasant atmosphere. You should give it a try!

Even though the bar down the street had nothing good to say about this place on reviews, I thought the food was great. Their sweet tea is perfect and they even threw some moist towelettes in the sack for my carry out order. The food was warm and fries had a good snap to them so they weren’t soggy at all. They were pretty busy for lunch time but they still had a couple of open seats if I wanted to dine in. They had plenty of TV’s so you can watch your game of choice. The staff was very polite and helpful. Go see Caylie! She will take good care of you!

The chicken fried steak (Salisbury fried steak on their menu) was SO GOOD! Fresh and hot. When you cut into the crust it has a lovely crisp crunchy crust that’s not too thick. My stepfather got the Cuban sandwich with these odd curly fries and loved it. Even the coffee, which was just a normal drip brew, was good and not butter at all. I’ve had a ton of dinner coffee and while it seems odd to make note of it, theirs has been some of the best.

I really love supporting business that support live music. They have such a great patio. But, they are never able to keep up… kitchen, bar, or wait staff. Not for lack of effort… they would be so much more profitable and enjoyable if they could meet the demand.

Friendly service, decent bar food. It’s exactly what you’d expect, sometimes it’s pretty loud between the pop country music and occasional trivia. It’s what I’d essentially describe as the culinary equivalent to Walmart shopping or drinking Busch Light….as proven by the decor.

Merle’s is always a good bet for a good meal. The burgers were a bit overcooked today ant they got a little on the “skimpy” on the portion size of the tater tots but this was very unusual for them. It’s generally a great place to eat and I still recommend them.

Went to try tonight for first time. Not that great, granted they were buzy but food and waitress need a lot of work.

I had the buffalo chicken tacos and a royal blue margarita. They were both delicious. My wife had the French dip, and she said that it she could have made one that tasted the same at home. The service and atmosphere were great!
