Got a takeout pizza after a concert. We got the chicken parm pizza and it was so good. I do with we got pizza by the slice because 1. This pizza should definitely be eaten hot (not as good when it cools) and 2. Would have loved to try some of the other options. Definitely want to go back to try other slices!

Prices go through the roof as the quality falls into the toilet. Whatever great things this place once had are long gone. A single slice now is the equivalent of a personal pan pizza at any other location. The pizza sits under heating lamps all day and gets rubbery and gross. Yet, it is still sold. Staff constantly ignore customers and talk amongst themselves. They will go from touching their phones to your food without washing their hands.

Mesa pizza had catered a scout event I was at earlier. There pizzas are good with interesting combinations. They also serve individual slices. The photographed ones are pepperoni mushroom and eggplant both are of course is quite good.

Excellent New York style pizza! Not quite as good as New York but the best you’ll find around Minnesota. Innovative and creative toppings like penne chicken alfredo, or pulled pork mac and cheese make this a must go to. I went back to have it again!

I just had two slices today and I still can’t believe how fantastic this pizza is after discovering it about 10 years ago! I’m originally from New Jersey and moved to Minnesota about 15 years ago and have always worked in the Twin Cities while living in the south suburbs. I’ve had pizza all over this country and of course I’m partial to the NYNJ style. While MN has many regional influences on its food and some really great pizza options, that I do also enjoy, this modest and funky little chain serves up some of the most creative and delicious “pies” I’ve ever tried. Each one – from the most traditional Tomato and Basil with Fresh Mozzarella to the savory Penne Chicken Alfredo and the wild Southern Gentleman or Mac and Cheese they all hit their mark with amazing continuity and great fresh flavor. I come from the land of excellent crisp crust pie that is perhaps mostly more traditional pizza with red sauce and maybe meatball or peperoni, mushroom, sausage and even anchovy but these guys and girls really get it when it comes to preparing and putting great ingredients together on that fabulous thin, crisp (but not cracker-like) crust that is the absolute heart and soul of any great “New York Style” pizza pie! At my age I have to carefully “dose” myself with this awesome treat so I don’t overdo it. Every time I go and sit in the window savoring my slices it also brings me back home to Jersey for a few minutes and I love that too. Great Job Mesa Pizza!

Very rude employee, the one with glasses. First he gave me an attitude for ordering 4 slices of pizza, I’m assuming because the place was packed with people, then as I stepped up to the register to pay he made a smart comment about me standing there waiting to pay. I got into a verbal altercation with him and told him to stop being rude to customers.

This is my first time visiting MN. Being a pizza lover, I asked my friend to take me to a place where they sell pizza by the slice so that I get to try different varieties. This was one of the best pizzas I had in a while. They have specialty pizzas unique to their location.
