Went there yesterday as a solo for a quick bite. The waiter at the desk was super nice and helpful. I ordered a mushroom enchilada which was so delicious. The service was great and the environment is decent. Will definitely come back, and no wonder people say they are great!!

Our dinner tonight was outstanding. We had an amazing appetizer of fried hen of the wood mushrooms that were breaded with some crazy blend of corn meal and tapioca and some other things the chef mentioned (so stuffed, can’t remember!). Then came the chicken and bison, (and the sides :), all paired with lovely drinks recommended by our waiter and followed up with a lovely seasonal peach dessert. Go now.

I don’t often write reviews for restaurants, but Mesa Provisions blew me away and inspired this little story. From the moment my party was greeted at the door I was impressed- by the staff, the atmosphere, the art- everything was just perfection. The menu is carefully curated and the wine list is superb. My partner ordered the lamb chops and I ordered the beef ribeye, and both entrees were generously sized with sides and sauces that complemented the meats perfectly. Halfway through the meal we wondered what tastes we were experiencing in our sauces and asked a gentleman washing glasses behind the bar, only to find out he was the chef! He was happy to have a chat about his ingredient choices and the history of the restaurant. It’s not often you see a chef in the front of the house doing what needs done so his staff and diners have a great experience.
