They definitely have a good spot in Mckinney location wise. However, there were a few things that need attention. The restaurant was not packed, and the service should have been way better. They did get an extra star because they will accommodate a special request. Even though it came out cold. All of the food items came out cold. The waitress did not come back to ask how we were doing after she dropped off the food. So we decided to just ask her for a box when she brought the ticket. We brought the food home and heated it up. It was good. It seems like it’s a Hispanic run restaurant, but they certainly need to realize that all customers are important. Otherwise, they’ll stay just as unknown as they are right now. This was the first and last time we will visit. Sad because we’re only 7 min from them. The manager that seated us was not very welcoming either. I guess it’s true what they say “You are only as good as your leader.”

Food was great, service good too! Didn’t wait long for the main course to arrive. Chips and black bean dip/salsa were plentiful. Not too busy on weekend, HUGE plus. Portion size average for Mexican place. Food is on par with other places at this price point.

The food was delicious, the waiter Alberto was very attentive to us, I went with my service dog and he attended to it when making the order, offering us water or ice for her due to the heat since we were outside. Unfortunately, the person in charge of the place yesterday did not have the best attitude with my service dog looking at her in a bad way. He came to the table with a bad attitude to ask me if it was a service dog since they do not accept dogs there. I told him if she was a service dog and he continued with a bad attitude and went to another table. My dog never barked while we were there, she only barked when the man came to the table with his bad attitude, how sad that they have people like that working in restaurants.

Edit: Only 3 Stars Don’t ask to substitute a side – used to be a favorite place to bring the family. Just wanted to change one soup for another on one of the meals, didn’t mind an up charge – but was told “No, we don’t do that” – had to ask for the manager, acted like it was a big deal to change it. Next time, if we come back, will just order a side of soup we like in addition as apparently swapping a side out needs to have a manager brought in.
