The delicious aromatic char of mesquite grilling fills the air! Fresh meat even during the week and lots of cars. They sell out fast so arrive early to get what you want. The loose moist cut brisket is so yummy I don’t like lean meat.

Absolutely delicious! I ate everything that was put in front of me. Brisket great tender has a nice char crust as well! Sausage delicious! And I am not a sausage person. I’ve tried plenty of BBQ places out but I can say out of all the places I’ve tried Mesquite House was my favorite one. The brisket was delicious but the Fajitas are my favorite from here the rice and beans were really on point service was awesome. I had homemade peach cobbler for dessert with ice cream it hit the spot.

HANDS DOWN THE MOST TASTE BUD SATISFYING BBQ IN THE COASTAL BEND!!! Gordo the owner gets down with those pits very nice man and interactive with his customers if y’all r in the coastal area this is the hit stop place for BBQ.brisket, sausage, pork ribs, brisket potato, sides and especially the MONICA aka rice and beans bowl and lots more to try.the staff is very inviting and friendly. Absolutely amazing food, I got the two meat plate, brisket and sausage.. bean’s and coleslaw. I don’t use BBQ sauce And you definitely don’t need any, everything tasted great, brisket was tender and juicy. Even The bean’s feel And taste homemade… you Definitely need to give them a try and hopefully I’ll be able to go back soon…

The best BBQ in Corpus Christy, travel from San Juan TX 956 to eat the best brisket, chicken, sausage, ribs beans rice and potato salad. I’d drive two and a half hours again to eat this tasty BBQ again. Very friendly owners and their children are wonderful.

I saw the place the other day and decided to try it. The 2 meat shows $13. on the menu but all meat orders are charged 99 cents more at register because of high prices. They give you plenty on the plate. The sausage was tough to cut with knife and brisket cut easy with fork. The pinto beans were good and potatoe salad might be store bought. Overall I give it 4 stars because it is new and just getting started but could list other problems.

Dry brisket, canned pinto beans. Fajitas weren’t any better. Served unwarmed and rubberish. Maybe it was a bad day but will not return. There’s a place uptown (Garrett’s bbq) that blows this place out of the water.
