Looks can be deceiving. Don’t be put off by the location or appearance. I was not expecting this caliber of food from this restaurant but I was surprised and impressed. The ribeye was moist and cooked to perfection. The quail was not over cooked and was very juicy and moist with a delicious mesquite wood flavor. The rolls were warm and tasty. The cinnamon butter added the little extra touch. I will say the fried pickles were very good and crispy but very greasy. Overall fantastic food and pricing wasn’t bad either.

I was staying in Kenedy TX, for one night, and needed a place for dinner, couldn’t ask for a better place. Food was great! I had the “South Texas Egg Roll” and a delicious “Mesquite Grilled Salmon” one of the best Salmon I’ve eaten. The hosttess and the server were very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Service and atmosphere were great. Appetizers were great. Main dishes came out tasting good, but not hot. Steak was melt in your mouth tender. Much better than 5-D.

I didn’t think I could find a steak of this caliber in Karnes County. They definitely know what they’re doing in the kitchen. Personalized friendly service compliments the wide selection of tasty entrees. We will be back.

I got a medium rare T bone steak, and I got a thin cut. It didn’t say thin cut on the menu. The color was really off and their were parts on the other side that were not cooked right. Manager said that’s how they come. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
