My friend and I have come here multiple times in the past and have had a blast! However, this night was so different! We literally were just freezing in the bar and I asked my friend to close the door and the bouncer and other workers were so upset that they started yelling at us to leave. We were so confused because it was simply cold and they started calling us disrespectful and yelling in our faces to leave the bar. Safe to say we will never be coming to this place again. Learn some customer service skills dude especially to sober customers! ❤️

Bartender was rude for no reason, I’m guessing she was just having a bad night but when we tried to ask for a drink, she threw the money back at us and cussed repeatedly at us for not tipping. We always pay in cash and we told her that we always tip the jar because that’s were we assumed cash tips go but she did not believe us and told us to leave. (Bartender was blonde and short, had a stingray tattoo on her outer right arm and a shark tooth on her under right arm) I am also a bartender for a restaurant and never in my life have I shown disrespect to a customer like she did to us

Bar tenders add extra tips onto your tab. Don’t go here. Multiple times I’ve been added more tip than I’ve given. The girls who work here are rude and dishonest. very poor management.

Bouncers mean mug you and act like they don’t care. I’m convinced they’re mute and deaf because they don’t talk. Bartenders are cool though but the drinks are too expensive for small containers. If you’re around, try Chimy’s instead. Only reason why I walked into this sad excuse for a bar was because I didn’t wanna deal with the long lines at other bars. They did play good songs but that’s about it.

Asked the bouncer if designated driver’s had to pay their $10 cover too. They told me yes, but no problem I paid because I was out for a friend’s birthday. As soon as we leave they single me out saying “Oh thats the DD” to the 2 other coworkers out there doing… Honestly not sure why they were all out there.

I was served a shot of water from a police officer that was part of the bar. I asked why and then told I was going to be arrested. I had 2 beers… Be really careful, as they are trying to set up people… scary!!!!! I will be proceeding at its litigation for harassment, embarrassment and threatening

It’s a fun environment but drinks are pricey and the minimum card charge forces one to get 3 drinks at once if you wanna close out then and there. Be wary and those keep receipts and keep an eye at your bank statements.

I love this place but was treated criminally tonight.. guy in the khaki Carhart and coworker (I assume) with no jacket didn’t let me stand outside for fresh air in an smoking facility. Sickening, I just wanted some cool fresh air. I hope they are nicer next time.

I wish I could write about my experience, but I can’t because I couldn’t even GET IN!! Hours posted on the door said 5:30 pm. My husband and I killed 2 hours waiting for 5:30 only to show up and the doors were locked. Called their number, no answer. The sad part is we arranged our summer vacation to come here specifically to have dinner. Husband went to pillot training at Reese AFB 35 years and we came back to reminince. 6:30 pm came and went and you still were not open!! What the hell. Do you do business or not?

For absolutely no reason I was treated like utter garbage by a bouncer, bartender, and a manager named Adam, within a space of 20 minutes, at Mesquites Bar and Grill in Lubbock, Texas. Might have been because I’m older than their traditional patron and ageism is common practice at Mesquites.
