Make sure you try this place! The food is so good! The waffles are not your typical hard waffles. These are soft but also have a “crunch”. The chicken is amazing as are the potatoes. Probably the best chicken and waffles in my opinion. I would love to try some of the sandwiches they offer. It gets busy here so you may be waiting.

Best chicken & waffles EVER!! Been going here ever since it opens. Everything I’ve ever tried is absolutely delicious! My go to brunch place. Def reccomend the Mess Breakfast w/ a side of maple aioli and a cup of fresh orange juice, so delicious!

I’m a newcomer to this brunch restaurant. First off just to let you know u have to pay for parking. It charges by the hour. It was quite small on the inside but had seating outside as well. You have to order your food at the register and then your food will be bought to you. The staff was fairly nice. The chicken was seasoned well along with the potatoes/ eggs.The waffle had a rectangle but i was ok with that.The waffle had a light cruch with syrup on the side. I had a cup of mixed fruit also.The atmosphere was bright and very nice. Mixed crowd.

A classic college station brunch spot. I have been going year for years and there savory and sweet dishes never fail to satisfy. Part of the beauty is the simplicity of the dishes – they are all combinations of classic brunch items. I always get a snack size cookie butter waffle with strawberries and bananas. They have a great variety of options as well (but don’t expect many healthy options). Love the atmosphere as well. They have a great pick 2 deal after 10:30 am weekdays as well. Definitely a to go spot for breakfast and brunch.

Tgis was my first time at Mess. The location, decor and food were great, service i have to say was questionable. We had to wait on the line for nearly one hour which is not good. I am not sure if they were under staff for Sunday morning or something like that but i will try to avoid next time during those days and hours.

It was a little bit of a wait, but I was able to order everything I wanted. I had chicken and waffles with a side order of Mac n cheese. It ended up being pretty great value and very sizable portion. The chicken itself was very tasty and everything is cooked to order. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to my friends and I’ll be back myself.

Nice price, I mean awesome prices. You can eat here for an affordable amount of money and get you satisfied. Order taker was very nice. But waitresses are kinda quiet, so they have some room for improvement. It won’t hurt if they become a little nore sociable.
