2023-07: I have yet to dine in here, so my review comes as a result of a third party delivery service, but it’s based solely on the food and response I received from the restaurant through the third party app. First and foremost, I believe the owners truly take pride in their business and wanting to have happy customers. While I had no major issues with my order, the response I received was grateful for the constructive criticism I had given. That speaks volumes. I ordered the Southwest Omelette and a side salad. The omelette was delicious, fresh, with tender crisp ingredients inside. No complaints. I had some hash browns with onions with that and I inhaled them. I was very pleased with something so trivial to most.. the ranch dressing for my salad. It was the kind that’s made in house, stirred up in batches, not from a sealed bottle. Or so I believe… Buttermilk ranch, perhaps. My favorite. I’m hoping to patron this diner in person soon to try some things in house and experience that. All in all, I enjoyed my meal. The issues I had were miniscule to the point I won’t even mention them. I’ll definitely be going in person at some point.

My first time here. Me and the wife love this spot. The food was good. I had the chicken waffle. The chicken was juicy but not enough seasoning. I like the strawberry butter. My wife had a sandwich that is off the chain with some season fries. She did get another side of coleslaw and that was not good at all. The atmosphere was good. My server Donna was on point.

We came in and were greeted immediately and seated quickly. Our table was clean, I noticed they used a cleaning solution and paper towels, which is great, IMO, compared to using an old dish rag and a bucket of used water (compared to other restaurants). Our waitress was great and attentive. We put our orders in and received our orders fairly quickly. We got the chicken and waffles and the 3 egg breakfast. The portions are giant, which is perfect. One could get a doggie bag for extras. The chicken was friend to perfection. The waffles were light and fluffy. They only serve real eggs (not the bottled stuff), which is a plus. We also had hot chocolate and that was perfect, too. The atmosphere is low-key, not too loud of a crowd. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely go back again!

Metro Diner has some great ppl that work there. I won’t fib. Sometimes the food is hit or miss. This meal, I would definitely recommend getting the sour cream on the side if you don’t want too much on it. After the 3rd time ordering it I decided it would be best to add my own. But the real reason I love this place is because one night after school, I was starving and didn’t know they closed at 8pm. When I arrived at 7:42, the employees greeted me, asked if I was sitting or dining out, and lead me to a table without haste. I noticed some were cleaning and they were cleaning the grill and instantly jumped up and told them they could throw all that in a to-go container. Although they said it was fine and I could stay, I insisted. Excellent customer service every time and I go often.

I’ve been here several times and love their food. This particular day I got chicken and waffles, and the waffles come with strawberry butter. It was very good! You get a breast, wing, leg, and thigh with your waffles. It was more than enough. The mimosas were good also. They actually had more than a teaspoon of champagne like some places do . I’ve also had the shrimp and grits, and my coworkers had fish and chips. Everyone was satisfied with their food. This is a diner so all their portions are hefty and at a good price!
