RJ Fatorma, our student guide extraordinaire at URI recommended Mews to us! We are super happy with our very late lunch/ early supper!! It was lovely to be able to relax outside with some good food and a cold hard cider!! The atmosphere, wait staff, and location are fabulous! Glad we were early! The place really started getting busy as we finished! I had the fish and chips. There were at least three servings of fish on the platter and two servings of fries!!!! We shared mozzarella triangles with marinara for a starter. It was good, just nothing out of the ordinary. My daughter had the Philly cheesesteak. She raved about it!!! It looked really good! Especially the ?homemade? roll!!

Finally got to try out Mews Tavern yesterday afternoon. What a delightful outdoor spot. The staff were all helpful, friendly, and outgoing. It was great to see the wide selection of different types of beers, not your average on tap items. The menu was incredible, made it hard to choose what to get. I opted for the sour beer, fried pickle chips and the fish tacos. The beer was perfectly sour, the pickle chips were thick, breaded just right and the dill sauce was refreshing. The fish tacos were everything I had oped for! It was so good to see fish tacos that aren’t deep fried and breaded! The food was so good I had forgotten to take photos! Can’t wait to come back!

Always a great stop with the family. Best draft list around as well as pub food and the pizza is great. Pro tip… go in the afternoon between lunch and dinner when it’s slower… it gets really busy…

I thought the food was good and the service was good. Everything was just fine. Price was reasonable and flavor was as expected. Parking is a little tough but so is everything in the area

I cannot recommend Mews Tavern highly enough. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to make our experience truly memorable. I will definitely be returning soon!

One of my new restaurants to stop at while out on the bike. The set up is awesome. You have the inside bar which we did not see this visit. When you first walk into the out door you are seated and the drinks are served out of an old food truck. The bar selection is amazing and a lot of local brews. I got a mixed (resting banana face)which was amazingly delicious. Then when you get to the menu it’s perfect. The variety of plates to choose from is complimentary to just about everyone. There is local meats, burgers, vegetarian, Mexican, pasta, awesome wings. Our food was perfect and delicious. My husband got the make your own burger with the Angus beef while I got the rhody red eye. I very much preferred the Angus over the local beef. Over all it was a great experience and the prices are extremely reasonable.

They used to build their pizza out more toward the crust but the good stuff has been shrinking so now there’s more crust.

I would like to express our continued overwhelming satisfaction with the Mews Tavern. They have 60+ beers on tap and a happy hour. The salsa is made in-house and it beats any other I have tasted. The tortilla chips and salad dressings are made in house. The meats are smoked in house. Bring this all together into the brisket burrito I ordered. It’s a true balance of taste and texture. They have a slow cooked chicken version as well that my fiance’ always gets. The Sunset Farms burger is great, the black bean burger is a vegan go-to. You know when you are eating food that is better than the ordinary and the Mews meets this challenge. Our waiter/ bartender, Justin, has provided us with great service for many years.

Great place for dinner! Food was great, we felt as though the waitress kinda forgot about us when we got there but she was busy and very kind so it all worked out. The drinks were big and a great price! Fish sandwich, Bahn Mi, and caprese chicken sandwich were all delicious! The punch special drinks were very good for the price. Would def go back!

They had an amazing selection of food. I had a hard time choosing what I wanted. My dinner was very good and the rest of the meals that our group ordered looked great as well. I had the feta appetizer which may be the best app I’ve ever had. My table also shared the fried pickles and Buffalo dip. Both were good. I’d go back at least five more times if I could because there are at least five more meals I’d love to try.
