I ordered the nachos supreme. The dish was fairly bland compared to another Mexican restaurant not too far away. I would recommend trying something else. The other dishes looked really good. I’d suggest staying away from the Nachos Supreme as your main dish. The seasoned chicken just didn’t hold much flavor. The chicken tasted boiled so the seasoning must not have stayed attached.

Great Mexican food with a wide variety! Really authentic Mayan cuisine. Loved the salsa and the meal- had a good amount of leftovers from it.

Had some time to kill. 4.55 for a tall draft. Not even thinking of food, as I looked at the menu, I decided that I would eat. Great idea. Great place to enjoy an adult beverage and some grub!!

You can only please a true Guatemaln if the food is made with the same love and effort that another dedicated and true Guatemaln cook who knows the authentic “Chapin” flavor otherwise it’s called False Advertising

For the most part pretty good food! Their salsa and beans were subpar, but otherwise rice, guac, and main entrees were amazing! Their steamed veggies were fantastic!! Also the host and servers were friendly ☺️

All the food was good and had no problems, just a tad on the pricey side. 2 people for a fairly normal order cost $41 including tip where as I would have expected $30-35. I am sure I will be back, just not as often as I would if the prices were more in line with a family mexican resturant. Portions are a good size, but not necessarily huge as some places are. Overall a good Mexican resturant if you are in the area and hungry for Mexican food.

Mexa Maya is truly one of the finest Mexican options in town. Their Deluxe Burrito claims to be the best in town and it is! The interior is so nice and the food is so great. This is a spot I recommend all to try!

We stopped for dinner while driving through. A family of 6 with young children. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful as we tried to avoid allergens. We ordered beef natchos supreme, taco salad (minus the shell), and Pollo Yucatan. We received a standard, appetizer of chips and salsa. The tortilla chips were crisp, but the salsa tasted like salty V8 juice with sparingly chopped onion. The salad was sized like a side salad, but at a full salad price. The natchos supreme was surprisingly small as well, with the lettuce and sour cream toppings taking the primary stage over everything else. As my Pollo Yucatan sides, the rice was overcooked, on the verge of mush. The vegetables, chicken, cheese, and shrimp portion were well seasoned and tasted good. Overall, everyone said everything tasted bland. Spicy hot level 0 overall. My wife said the woman’s restroom smelled unclean. We were happy to try something new, but wouldn’t plan on coming back if we’re in the area again.
