My wife and I are on a road trip and so far we put on 4000 miles driving the western states. We decided to try this restaurant despite some of the bad reviews and was pleasantly surprised. We had the best Mexican food since I left home. The food and service was very good. I would definitely eat there again.

Here I am day 2 of receiving food poisoning from this establishment. I remember eating a ground beef enchilada and a very flat dr. Pepper. The taste of the food was that of dog food I can only taken a few bites before I have had enough. I will not be back and I will most likely not return to the town of Meeker unless some apocalypse forces me to go back to that town. Too many locals just seemingly accept the state of this restaurant.

I’m traveling out in the middle of nowhere the way I see it and was hungry and came across this place and wow. This place is excellent. The food is absolutely amazing. You can tell these people take pride in their food.

Amazing food with large portions. It was hard for any of us to finish our plate. Personally, I didn’t care for the homemade salsa, which was complimentary with chips before our meals came, but the others with me liked it, so complete personal preference on that. Best tacos I’ve ever had a Mexican restaurant!

The food and service is really good. Probably one of the coldest beers I’ve ever had in their frosted mug. If you are in the mood for Mexican food I highly recommend this restaurant. I love the local ranchers brands on the walls.

Got caught in a snowstorm on my way out of Denver. I-70 was shutdown so I was rerouted through the town of Meeker. Cold, tired, and stressed from the drive, the Mexican House was our only refuge for a hot meal and a strong Bloody Mary.
