Having a 4.5-star rating on both Google and Yelp confirms that the restaurant is a big hit in the community. I concede to the locals’ opinion. The Mexican food expertise of the clientele that were coming and going this afternoon would withstand vigorous scrutiny. Without question these folks know Mexican food and love Mexico Viejo Bar and Grill. Their credentials are obvious. Advice for the out of towners….Saying that you are from [fill in state] and you “know” Mexican food, loud enough for someone to hear it in this restaurant, would cause an involuntary, hissing spray of beer from their mouths, followed by a slap of the table and raucous laughter. Sit down and enjoy the food.

I ordered the Street Tacos. It came with 4 tacos, rice, beans/hotdogs sliced thin. The tacos were very good. The beans/hotdogs were room temperature (yuck). The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere. If I go back I’ll probably have street tacos again and ask if I can substitute something for the beans/hotdogs

Great atmosphere and very clean. Chips and salsa was great. We had the Emily platter and the Jamie platter, both were excellent. We will definitely be coming back.

First time here. Very clean, well lit. I didn’t need a flashlight to read the menu. It is bright enough tp read the mena.Everyone that we saw acknowledged us. My husband had the Special Dinner. If you are going to order this, bring your appetite. It was 2 whole plates of food. And very good food at that. We will be returnig.

Delicious food and drinks served by very welcoming, efficient and knowledgeable staff. Received our food extremely fast, so didn’t need to fill up on chips and salsa before our meal came out.

My first visit and won’t be my last. Everything was just perfect. The food was amazing. Our waiter was one of the best waiters I have had in years. The manager was also very friendly. The atmosphere was very pleasant. 1 thing that really stood out to me was that all the employees were smiling and helpful. Love this place!

I LOVE this restaurant!!! The food is delicious! There is so much variety and so many choices! They have an extensive menu (even for lunch,) and the prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and very attentive. They are a great addition to Bartlesville!
