Went here with my family a few days ago. Literally worst restaurant I have ever been to. I have never had to send my food back because I couldn’t eat it but this time I did. Chicken “meat” turns to powder in your mouth. Any dish you get with chicken in it just taste like canned chicken noodle soup. If you get the nachos, you pick up one chip and your whole meal come up with it. All the cheese it like glue and pasty, gets stuck in your mouth. Refried beans looks disgusting no one even tried them. Looked like a no bake cookie. Servers were nice though.

Like the worst decision of mine this week. They brought me and my son tacos with the shell and all the ingredients in bowls. No plates. Had to build my own tacos. The ingredients are disgusting. Beans looking like they’d been in the alley all day, rice that is garbage. I did not eat. So bothered by my experience and still charged full price. Never will I return. I regret this.

Had the burrito enchilada style and really liked it. I got the chili con queso and wouldn’t get it again. Had to wait a little bit to get seated but it was lunch time. Didn’t like that some employees walked by without acknowledging I was waiting. I thought it was good value for the money. I would go back.

We always like the food here. You can’t go wrong with a burrito enchilada style. I got the combo plate this time. Their hard tacos are quite possibly the best I have ever had, there was a slight bit of sweet ro it. Our waitress Candy was very nice and very attentive, she did an awesome job.

Mexican villa has never been my favorite Mexican restaurant around, but I know people who swear by it. I ordered the basket of tacos, while they weren’t awful they were incredibly bland. It’s like the flavors were all washed out of the food or something.

So I just had my beloved Sancho Enchilada Style twice this weekend. I hadnt had it in almost a decade! I flew from Denver to see family in Arkansas and I made the drive from there up to get my Sancho! And I ordered one deconstructed to go for lunch the next day!

Wonderful! Grew up on this food and stop by every chance we get now that we live in another state. Be sure to get a tshirt and whichever sauce you like to take home with you! Mexican Villa has its own style for sure. If your looking for a wonderful, delicious, Springfield twist on Mexican quisine, you can’t go wrong here… or any of their other locations as well! A Springfield tradition that hopefully lives on forever.
