Had lunch and it wasn’t suitable for human consumption! The caldo tasted sour and the shredded beef tacos were dry and freeze burned! (Did not eat them) When I tried to tell them they acted insulted and asked me to leave, even after paying for the meal and still tipping!!!

I did not like their specialty torta with milanesa and chorizo and all this other stuff, it is hard to pull off a sandwich that has a lot of food and is balanced and layered I will give them that. But this torta even after taking off the milanesa I still didn’t care for it very much. But please lose the gourmet buns too those do not go well on tortas stick to the traditional bread and please tweak your formula maybe put less food on the tortas. I will be going back to try something else since they’re right around the corner and I appreciate the effort they’re putting in that a lot of restaurants lack since the pandemic.

Newly reopened. Formerly longstanding La Paloma. Now a no-frills, basic, neighborhood Mexican eatery. Covid protocol is minimal. Booths and tables are distanced and thw only server on duty wore a mask. Q is average. But prices are very reasonable. Need a few more visits to try more entrees and give them chance to make changes.
