Everything is delicious. I work across the street and have been here numerous times. My favorites are breakfast huevos rancheros, tostada salad, chicken green pozole, enchiladas and today I tried the menudo. It is very tasty and a huge bowl.

Quaint hole in the wall across from USC+Med. Center. Delicious enchiladas (Green & Chipotle) combo was delicious! The green chicken pozole was pretty tasty, too! Perfect cafe de la olla. Each plate was about $15/17. Large & tasty. Service was quick, friendly

I don’t eat at Mexican restaurants much, but what I got out of my visit wasn’t great, service staff was nice but lacking, there weren’t a lot of people when I went but they still forgot to get me more water when I requested it. The food was middling at best, nothing was bad, but nothing was good either. In essence the food had no impact and this is despite waiting for quite a while. They did serve some chips and fluid sauces while we waited but the chips were stale and the sauces were basically liquid and with no bowls or something to catch anything that drops it’s a wierd starter even if it’s free. Parking is basically street parking so I can’t recommend coming here on food or service. The atmosphere was nice to look at but there are some puzzling design decisions like a metal plate pressed up to the wall that doesn’t really make sense. All in all I cannot recommend this place outside of it serves food that is decent for takeout or delivery.

Small place with great food and friendly staff. When I went, a lot of their team was out on a catering job, but the staff left behind did great managing the place. The red and green chilaquiles with asada steak was great.

This would not be my first choice to go. However, since I work across the street, I figured I would give it a try. The service was okay. No one was friendly, just cordial. It is a small location with limited seating options. The food is kinda hit and miss. With the price of eating out going up what feels like every day, the flavor of the food means so much. The flavor of the food at this location is on the bland side. The pancake breakfast is good and filling. The breakfast burrito is fine. However, I have had better, and there are better options available. Overall that’s the grade I would give Mexicanos 3030, if you are short on time and work close by, it’s okay, if you are looking for a restaurant to have a good tasting meal and relax there are other options. Updated 8/13/2023. Horrible customer service. It wasn’t even that busy, and the service is terrible. I waited over an hour for the food. Which reminds me before I forget never ever pay a tip up front. Waiters and waitress never live up to a tip that is paid for a take out order. The lady that helped me didn’t deserve the $5.00 tip o left and I should have been reimbursed for the tip as well but the only thing I got reimbursed for was a breakfast that I never got. I am so sorry that this place has a high rating that it does. Even the burrito I got should say rice burrito because, as you can see, that’s all that is in there. Major disappointment today. The owner should be ashamed. He failed miserably today.

I really hate leaving bad reviews but I was so dissapointed in our food. The waitress was really nice and proffesional. The 1 star is because of the food. My chilaquiles tasted old and the sauce was watered down. I also had the chile relleno that took a very long time to come out and also had a fishy bad taste. I loved the green salsa they sell and I purchased one but they never gave it to me in my bag. These are the worst chilaquiles I have ever had a restaurant and I ended up just leaving the chile relleno. I dont know what happened, this was one of my favorite restaurants in LA but today was really bad.

Try los divorciados. Delicious chilaquiles with two huevos & two types of sauce with meat on top. Mix it with some of their savory rice! The salsas are on point and you can even purchase a bottle of your favorite salsa to go. Also try the burritos. They hit the spot!

The food was delicious. Cafe de la Olla was one of the best I’ve had. I had the red enchiladas. The salsa and chips are very good, my favorite was the cilantro guacamole one.
