What a find! And I didn’t even have Mexican food! If I had, I think I would give it a five star. All I did was have breakfast, but it was all executed perfectly. Even the hash browns were better than american restaurants. I can’t wait to come here again and try some real Mexican food.

Amazing flavor! Decent prices. They just stingy with them carrots or it’d be 5 stars. ♂️ Birria Tacos are and enough for 2 ppl. The meatball soup is a must try. The Tipico Bowl is good one to get off you’re in the fence on what to get. Tacos Carbon and the ceviche you can’t go wrong with too. Best Mexican food in town hands down.

Best Mexican food I’ve had anywhere around here. The chorizo, and beef, tacos are both amazing (the beef is like seasoned steak strips/shavings, not ground beef). Great salsa, and a spicy green sauce that is fantastic. I highly recommend!

Right when I walked in, I knew the food was gonna be good! I got the chimichanga and it was delicious. My friend got birria tacos and she said they were so good. Will be coming back to try more things. The prices weren’t bad at all!

I’ve been to México Típico Restaurante many times for breakfast and those incredible Birra Tacos and breakfast Burritos but this was my first time for dinner. Dined with a friend and we had a wide variety of food from Sopa de Albondigas (meatball soup), Mulitas Carnitas, Sopes Spicy Pork, and Carne Asada. Everything was really good, portions are huge, and the meals arrived hot. The Sopes was OK neither of us cares for the tortilla part. They were extremely busy but from placing your order at the register you had your food within 10 minutes. Great food, not expensive, and they take your order quickly and deliver your food fast!

Wow… just wow. Stopped by for the first time today and had lunch. I ordered and inhaled the Birria Tacos which were absolutely incredible. Beef was tender and juicy. Cheesy yummy goodness. Huge portion and sooo tasty. Loved the broth. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dining area is large and open. I’ll be back very soon. So good.

Being from California and extremely spoiled being close to Mexico, it’s hard to find authentic Mexican food in Tennessee. I’m always disappointed and left with an unsatisfied pallet. However, Mexico Tipico was okay. I tried the Birria queso tacos and it was good. Filled with lots of meat and flavor! I also miss seafood as I’m always complaining of the frozen taste. Again to my surprise the ceviche was spot on! My husband ordered the wet burrito, he said he’s had better. My son wasn’t impressed with the bean and cheese burrito. The tortilla wasn’t hot and the cheese wasn’t even melted, but he didn’t want me to ask for it to be remade so he removed the cold cheese and ate some of the beans and tortilla. I would be willing to give them another shot and order different items.
