Tacos are far superior to any taco around. Got 10 tacos de bistek that where fresh, hot and ready. The man has a woman that takes care of the money while he cooks the food. Ordered and 5 minutes later they were ready. Has 2 salsa that are 2 die for. Y pa la Raza tienen los mejores tacos en todo Houston. Bien ricos y la salsa bien picosa.

I was in the area and decided to stop by this taco truck. The food truck it self is very bright and from inside my vehicle looked like a good place to get tacos. As I get off to see what meats they offer and decide what I want, I notice there is only 1 worker and he is the one to collect the money and the cook that makes the orders. Everything would have been fine until I noticed he did not have gloves on and handled the money and than went on to make the orders with his bare hands. He was grabbing the onions, cilantro, tortillas with bare hands (NO GLOVES ). That alone was a deal breaker for me. He could have at least used a spoon to serve it if gloves weren’t available. Especially during these times people who handle food should be more cautious about the way they handle food that is being prepared for someone else to consume. I understand there was only one worker doing both cooking and collecting money, BUT that’s why gloves should be worn. If you don’t mind others bare hands all over your food than this may be for you but it sure was not for me.

Stop by to grab a bite this evening and I must say I would never return. The guy that was there working tonight 06/16/2021 does not use any safety precautions or safe sanitation procedures. This place needs to be visited by the City of Houston and hand out violations. There are NO COVERINGS/LIDS for the containers where the meats are stored in. The same hand that he uses to grab the meats onions cilantro and tortillas he uses to grab the money. The meat is saltier than the water in Galveston and the tortillas are very nasty and stale. This guy does not use or wear gloves and that is nasty. I asked for no grilled onions and still put them on my tacos and after remembering that I didn’t want them he grabbed them with his bare hand and returned them to the container. I don’t recommend this location for unsanitary concerns but this is my opinion.
