Had the pleasure of celebrating my friends birthday here last night before a show and what a fabulous surprise! Delicious cocktails, very cozy and trendy ambiance, excellent service! The manager was attentive and hands on, the bartenders were great! The tacos were priced right and delicious. Loved everything about this place and excited to return.

Actual location was easy to find, the layout is beautiful and open enough to interact with family and friends. The perfect bar, along with with one of the best bartenders. The drinks were fantastic, the mezcal old fashion is the best on the menu. The food was absolutely incredible, small dishes are perfect for happy hour, or even dinner. Just the right amount of food. The tacos were fresh, the meats cooked and marinated perfectly. The pastor tacos are out of this world, and the hot sauce is HOT!! Overall incredible experience and will be returning frequently.

Mezcal Mexican Cantina hits all the high points — food, service, ambiance. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They welcome our 8-month old son happily. Drinks are delightful. Food is some of the most authentic Mexican I’ve had outside of Mexico.

Amazing vibes! You need to come here for dinner with your family or drinks with your friends. Tacos are unique and delicious and authentic! Service is fantastic (the people are nice and actually happy). Get the cactus taco and the El Topo drink I am hooked!

The staff is amazing. So attentive and truly make you feel welcome. The food is definitely more authentic than your typical mexican restaurant found in pittsburgh. We have come multiple times and tried different things and all delicious! Favorites are def the torta ahogada, Mole and the tacoburgh! All the tacos are great too! The cocktails are also must trys! Do yourself a favor and come here, you wont regret it

Great service, tasty cocktail selections, and delicious foods. Would recommend the Al Pastor. The Nopales and Street Corn could use a little bit of charring for an extra layer of flavor. Good atmosphere for a date night or small group dining.

I’m mad at myself for waiting so long to finally get to Mezcal because I am in love with this place! The staff is chill and friendly, everything about the vibe is just fun and welcoming. We had more than a couple delicious margaritas, a LOADED queso fundido and my favorite – al pastor taco. They got a good thing going on here. I can’t wait to come back and try the chicken mole

This evening we ordered three tacos each across a party of three. Essentially, one of us tried every variety of taco offered. The food was all just ok – the meats were very dry, the radish was cut very thick, the tacos were wrapped in double corn tortillas that were also very thick and dry. Reasonably priced, okay food, but, not great or authentic Mexican.
