Banquet Menu
Menu
Menu selections, set-up requirements and desired amenities must be received 10 days prior to your event. No reduction of the final count is allowed within seven (7) days of the event date and the client will be responsible to pay for the guaranteed count. Due to seasonal market fluctuations, prices are subject to change. Prices will be guaranteed your final booking. Outside caterers or food products prepared off premise are not allowed, with the exception of wedding cakes, homemade ethnic desserts, and wedding favors. When more than one entree is selected, you will be required to guarantee the number of each entree and provide a means of identifying which guest gets which entree.
Beverage
The sale and service of alcoholic beverages is strictly regulated by the Rhode Island State Liquor Control Board. We ask that in accordance with Rhode Island State Law, no alcoholic beverages be brought into the venue. No alcohol may be purchased or served to any guest under the age of 21. Mezzo practices responsible alcohol service and will refuse service to any guest deemed to be intoxicated.
Liability
Mezzo reserves the right to oversee all private events. The client assumes all responsibility for any or all damage to the premise during an event and will be charged accordingly. The venue cannot assume responsibility for the loss or damage of personal property and equipment brought into the premise.
Billing And Deposits
A final invoice must be presented and approved 10 days prior to the event date. All rooms that are booked will require a non-refundable deposit of half the room fee, no less than $500.00. Parties with food orders for 10 or more people will require a $100.00 non-refundable deposit as well. All additional charges are due five (5) days prior to the event. V.I.P. tables in our lounge require a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 payable immediately upon making reservation.
Cancellations
Once a deposit is made to reserve an event date, it is understood that if the client should cancel for any reason before or on the date of the function, the entire deposit is non-refundable. Under the Manager’s discretion, the deposit may be transferred toward another reservation within the same calendar year.
Tax Exemptions
Any group claiming an exemption from paying the State Sales Tax must provide the venue with an Exemption Certificate issued by the State of Rhode Island. Acceptable form of payment is via check from the exempt organization.
Function Rooms
Our function rooms are designated according to the guaranteed number of guests. The venue does not accept responsibility for items left in the room after it is no longer occupied. 1.The Main Lounge This space holds approximately 300 guests. The Main Lounge features include one-of-a-kind local artwork, a fully stocked bar, incredibly stylish seating, and the latest lighting and sound system. 2. The Upper Lounge The Upper Lounge offers a more private, upper-level space for entertaining and includes its own bar, ultra-luxe decor and windows that overlook our outdoor terrace. 3. The inside is spacious, as well as the outdoor patio. It is big enough to have a private event without worrying about enough seating, where to put out the food or if there is space for people to dance. The bartender was attentive, but she did not check IDs. The negative of this place would be street parking as you can not use the parking lot behind the building. The drinks are very overpriced, especially when you are there for a private event. I understand paying more on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night out, but lower the price a couple of bucks for private events. In my opinion, $15 for a mixed drink wasn’t worth purchasing a second one. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I was there for a private event, and the bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in a week, and the smell of urine was unbearable. I was embarrassed for the people throwing the event. Overall, the atmosphere inside (besides the bathroom) was nice, and the bartender was friendly.

I am incredibly disappointed with my recent experience at this club. Despite being in my own country, I was refused a menu in Armenian Language. When I politely requested a menu in a language I understand, I was told that they did not have it available. As a result, my friends and I had to rely on translators to order our food and drinks, which was inconvenient and, more importantly, against the laws of the Armenian republic.

This place is ok but the costumer service is very poor. I was there on Saturday night. I paid for gin tonight but, the bartender gave me something else. I told her that was not what I paid for, she told me she couldn’t change it, that I would have to pay for another drink. I ask to speak to the manager, the manager offered his apologies but there was nothing he could do about that, and suggested to buy a drink an a different bar smh.

We went to an event who said $0 before 11 pm we made it in line before that we some how got charged $30 then our friends after us got served $20 for the same ticket. When leaving the worker said oh theirs 3 different events going on we went to the same event and tried explaining with no resolution. At the bar tried getting water the waitress would not serve me and continue to tell me that people that walked right up to the bar where their before me well they where also my friends who showed up after me had to ask a random guess to buy me water because they refused to serve me .

Good food or not, their exec chef is a deadbeat father who owes racks of child support, abandoned his kids in every way and lives a luxury lifestyle while his daughters have hand me downs, know all about mommy not being able to afford their dance classes and yet still long for their dad to tell them that he loves them. Supporting this chef is supporting children abandonment. And If you think it’s not your business just imagine it’s your father.
