Classic American Mexican restaurant in regards to the food and decor. I got a Burrito supreme that was excellent and there were enough leftovers for 2 meals! My friend’s meal looked good to. Friendly service. Highly recommended!

Great food and service. Would’ve given 5 stars if they didn’t charge you $1.35 for an extra tortilla with your fajitas. They only give you two tortillas for a huge pile of fajitas. Impossible to get all that in two torts. Seems pretty cheap to charge for an extra tortilla, most Mexican restaurants don’t charge for an extra tortilla. El Cheapo lost a star.

I should have followed my instincts and gone to Plaza Azteca in the first place. I paid $16 for this unappetizing slop. And when I asked if I could swap the refried beans for blacks beans. He just told me no. No mention of an upcharge, just “no.” I’ll be avoiding this place in the future, and telling the guests at the hotel where I work the same.

We were a little apprehensive of eating here after reading some of the reviews, but our experience was great. The food is authentic and delicious and the service was attentive. The only negative is that we live too far away to eat here regularly. We highly recommend you try it.

Waitress could not unstand English! Couldn’t get our order correct! And we were over charged! On our bill.Over charged on the cheese dip,and double charged on the rice!! We have been customer at all Mi cabana many times! Never been dissatisfied until this day.

I went here with my girlfriend on a Friday night for dinner in June/2023 and ordered a carnitas dish while my girlfriend ordered tacos. I think overall my dish tasted good… but around 4:30am I started to feel nauseous and ran to the bathroom. I got violently I’ll with what we believe was food poisoning from pork that was either undercooked or stored incorrectly. I was throwing up constantly for around 12 hours, unable to keep water down. I ate nothing the entirety of Saturday and part of Sunday. I decided to write this review because it is now Wednesday and I’m still dealing with the effects of this food poisoning. IF YOU WANT TO EAT HERE I STRONGLY SUGGEST CHECKING YOUR FOOD. Personally I will not be returning.

The food with the exception of the appetizer was delicious. The appetizer, Chili Con Queso, was okay. A bit too much grease left in it for my liking. Couldn’t scoop it with the chips because of that.

Was given a hot plate with cold food, when the manager was told about it he proceeded to just toss it in the microwave rather than preparing a fresh plate. Also the only acknowledgment we received from the server was upon getting chips, having our order taken and giving us the bill. Other than that the server walked by numerous times never asking us “how is the food” or anything. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
