Service wasn’t super friendly, food was bland and overpriced (touristy area obviously). The bees flying around everywhere are annoying, you have to pay for chips and salsa, only get one free beverage refill, and if you wanted to share a meal they charge you $5 to do so, they also don’t even have cheese dip (what kind of Mexican Restaurant doesn’t have that?!?)

Shrimp was delicious, cheese appetizer was interesting, margaritas didn’t taste like they had tequila in them, and our bill was outrageous (we didn’t get a detailed receipt to know why). Location off of ferry and decent views. Service wasn’t terrible. I’m glad we checked it out, but I wouldn’t love to return, though.

Fine experience at Mi Casita. Overall it’s an average American Mexican restaurant with the typical fair- don’t expect anything fancy. I suspect most people come for the giant margaritas.

Do not come here. They only have bottled water, if you share a dish they charge $5, if you take to go they charge .50cents per dish extra. I get this this a tourist location and I’m okay with paying more. Raise the price of your food overall, don’t nickle and dime us, it’s a bad user experience. Also, the food quality is awful, the meat was rock hard, salsa and rice tasted old. Take your business elsewhere.

We had dinner here on Christmas Day. We ordered their Christmas special which was some prime rib with mash potatoes and veggies, as well as a salad, and second meal was a carnitas quesadilla . For drinks we ordered beer and their own version of Coronarita called Baja Margarita. The food was delicious, the service was great and quick, the drink was good too. They were very busy and even if they closed at 6 o’clock , they still accepted patrons right after that. We have not gotten any tortilla chips like other tables did, not sure how that criteria works, but we were fine without and left with full bellies. Great recommendation if you wanna try some Mexican food while on the island.

First time coming here and it was okay. The enchiladas I ordered were delicious and the music was great. The service although was pretty slow. They brought our guacamole appetizer AFTER our meal because they forgot about it. The guacamole appetizer is a bit expensive for the serving size. I would say in general the serving portions are too small for their price. But honestly the place is comfortable and they have great music!

Staff was rude and they all looked mad. Food way overpriced, salty, small portions and not good at all.

Wish there was a negative star rating. By far the WORST food I have had in a very very long time. I understand that you are in a touristy area so it will be a bit overpriced but geez ! I paid almost $90 for an app, 2 entrees and 2 sodas. Besides food being horrible tasting, it wasn’t even cooked properly, my carne asada was either burnt on one side and raw on the other. Extremely salty and just bad tasting. Waitress was ok but got out food wrong the first time. I will never come back and eat food here and will NOT recommend it to anyone. There are plenty more options available on the island..

Friendly service. Tasty meals and good portions. Group of six received our meals at the same time. I recommend and will return another time I’m in Catalina.

Yummy Mexican food. Decor is nice and the staff is helpful. Pretty pricey for Mexican food, however everything on the island is a bit pricier.
