So I went in on June 22,2023. I ordered a carne asada torta and a chicken gorditia. As the lady preparing the torta I observe her put chicken on the torta I informed her that the torta is supposed to be carne asada she walks over to the tag and reads it and walks over to the garbage and begins to scrape the chicken and beans of the bread. The lady was not going to make me another. I told her cancel my order I am good I am going to get my money back. I am not returning to this place after that.

This is the third time trying this place, the tamales were so good the masa had such a good flavor, their salsa delicious. The quality of meats have been very good, tried their prepared meat for tacos and ut was good. Their chorizo was tasty as well

We recently stopped by this market, because we had never see a Mexican store on the north side of Stockton. We purchased Mexican bread, which had too much bread and not enough filling, and the dough was heavy not fluffy. Quesadilla was served separately from the filling, need to be put together with the lettuce, tomato. This store is not owned by a Mexican owner. But if you don’t feel like driving to the south side, east side to the mom and pop Mexican owned store it’s ok.

The customer service is not there! Rude female at the food counter and cashier. The owner and other men working there were pleasant,but the woman working there are just not friendly at all. I hope to go back and feel a little more welcomed and not get a “ya” when asking a question concerning purchasing something from there. They can have the best food in the world,but if your customer service sucks, people who spend money won’t be back.

The staff is very friendly (limited English) & helpful. The fresh tortillas are mouthwatering as was the chicken quesadilla. They have fresh Mexican breads & pastries, small market & carneceria. We will be back!
