We stopped by on a Sunday evening, there were plenty of seats available but the restaurant filled up quickly shortly after we arrived. Our server, Ellie, was absolutely amazing! She took the time to help us with the menu and we asked and was very patient with our long decision making process. I had the tamale plate and they are so far the best tamales I’ve eaten! My family and I visited Mi Cocinas today and we had the pleasure of being waited on by Tim. He was literally amazing and so attentive, made sure to anticipate our needs before we asked. The food and drinks came out fast and Tim made sure to constantly check on us. I will definitely come back again and want Tim as my server. It was an excellent experience.

If you are craving high-quality, Tex-Mex, this should be on top of your list. Went for a birthday luncheon. Wow. Everybody from the chef to the manager to the bartender to the wait staff came by and wished happy birthday and made the outing extra special. I cannot recommend Mi Cocina Uptown enough.
