Overall not a great choice. The food is a little better than mediocre. The chips for chips and salsa were stale and the salsa was on the hotter side. The crunchy taco was really dry. The enchiladas were pretty good. The sauce wasn’t the most flavorful but they did great on the shredded chicken. The service was really slow and unfriendly but not rude. It was really just not worth the experience.

I was pretty surprised at how slow the restaurant was at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. There were only three or four parties of people that were there the whole time while we got our food and ate. I thought the food quality was pretty good but it seems to be a little overpriced for the laid-back layout of the restaurant. The service at the restaurant was great mainly because there were so few people and the food also came out relatively quickly. I thought the chips and salsa they brought out in the beginning was great. I would go back to eat here in the future.

We went in on a Saturday around 3pm, we were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress was very sweet, and attentive. The chips and salsa get an “A” . We were given a complimentary small bowl of soup(a broth with tiny noodles) which was very good. Our meals were brought out promptly, our food was presented very well and hit the spot, great authentic taste, and original flavor. We were impressed. We will definitely return, and tell our friends and family. Not all menu pages are included.

Finally a Mexican restaurant that has food that tastes like it does in Mexico. Spicy salsa instead of the bland ketchup you find so many places. The tamales were tasty and smooth, the enchiladas full of meat and flavor, and the salsa verde on top was spicy but flavorful. Had a chance to chat with our waitress about Mexican history and food. I have found my new favorite restaurant in Utah.

This is a great option for anyone looking for a friendly atmosphere and the food is genuinely authentic with a wide variety of options for any diet restriction. I actually enjoy the food at this restaurant, but my last visit left me with a bitter taste in my mouth…and not from the food. We were seated in the back, which is fine, but it was 30 minutes before someone came to ask about drinks. The drinks came 30 minutes later. Some chips showed up 15 minutes after that. Then after another 15 minutes they came asking for our orders. The food was prepared in a standard time, and was good. Each time we were able to get water or chips or food orders it was after going to the front and asking if they could come help our table. When we were leaving they came to process the bill. This is when one might get to show displeasure by leaving a smaller tip. We were not given the chance as an automatic 20% was tacked on for our Family of 6. We don’t like to cause trouble so we just payed and went on our way, but the whole experience was disappointing, especially because we like the food here.

Very good food. Quality also very good. Restaurant is very clean. Love the home style feel in the restaurant and the food preparations. Hubby had Mixed Fajitas. I had Tacito Plate-chicken. The fideo soup was excellent. It’s a must go too if in the area. The waitress was amazing. Polite and very helpful. Just a nice person.
