This was a bit of a drive for my cousin and I but we enjoyed the food. There was nothing left to take back( we ate it all). We were craving Hispanic food and all the places close by were closed but we decided to give this place a try. The ladies(servers) are so pleasant and even gave me samples of their mixed juices. I had the carne asada w gallo pinto, sweet plantains, fried cheese and shredded cabbage. I tried their arroz con pina and chicha( native juices)…both good but I preferred the arroz con pina. I wanted dessert but I barely walked out of there. I was so full and satisfied. Thank you.

I would like to say the service I received was good, about average from other places. The environment was good. There was music and Nicaraguan merchandise, which was nice to see. Now, in regards to the food, I ordered the Carne Asada with Gallopinto tajada and queso frito with Cacao to drink. The salad and carne had no flavor! The gallopinto was more like “congri,” a cuban style rice and beans. On a different note, the tajada and queso frito were good. The Cacao was very good! All in all, I will not be coming back here again. I will have to make more drives to Miami until there is another better option closer.

Ordered the carne asada with gallo pinto, tajadas, fried cheese, and ensalada de repollo for takeout the other day. Not sure if they give away their bad food to those who get takeout, but it was really disappointing. The tajadas were extremely thin and oily. The carne asada was overcooked, dried out. It seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. The gallo pinto lacked flavor and the rice:bean ratio was off. They also don’t give you as much gallo pinto as you would get from a fritanga in Miami – and they charge more. It was about $16 for the meal and typically fritanga costs $12-$14. The ensalada de repollo also lacked flavor but felt like it was good quality. The only thing that was good was the fried cheese. The ladies working were very nice and welcoming, but the food is not good – at least for takeout. I’m sure dining in is probably better. Personally would not eat here again.

Honestly had a great experience on my visit. Service was great and the place was clean with nice tables that have pictures plastered all over of Nicaragua.

The food is a 10/10, super authentic flavor and ingredients. They have a great variety of dishes as well and the service is great. Would 100% recommend having cacao and churrasco with fried cheese.

I know Nicaraguan food very well and this was terrible, we Arrived a bit after 9 and was served at like 10:20. The food was disgusting and over priced, the atmosphere was horrible because some guy was singing at the top of his lungs screaming in our ear. I’m assuming Saturday is karaoke night but everyone that was singing sucked to say the least. We ended up paying 80 dollars with the tip. Not worth it, avoid at all costs. One last thing the staff were all horrible, loud obnoxious and disrespectful. 0/10.

Blown away by the end of our awful experience at the restaurant. The Cacao drink was the only item that was decent. They don’t serve Salpicón (a traditional Nicaraguan dish) until Sunday. We were also introduced with Mexican music that was loud and not appropriate for any restaurant. Place was hot and humid so very uncomfortable. They charge 15% tip for any dine in experience and still request extra tip. As we left our table the security guard in the front asked for our receipt in a rude way. We were not prepared to show a receipt nor notified by the waitress that we had to show it to security. Definitely gave a Walmart feel. Overall I recommend not to visit at all.

Worst customer service everrrrr. Food came out cold, we asked for it to be warmed up and the waitress with the bleached blonde hair literally declined. I was excited to finally find a “Nicaraguan restaurant “ and Now so disappointed. I’m headed sabores de mi Tierra a restaurant with great customer service. We couldn’t even finish our foods.

The food presentation and customer service were ok. The food wasn’t all that great. The meat has a bland taste. I mean for being a traditional Nicaraguan restaurant, the food taste wasn’t all there. Also the food was pricey. Two plates, drinks costs more than dining at a steak house. They need to either lower their prices or improve the taste.

There were maybe 2-3 people at the bar. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. Waited about 10 min, and then my friend asked about the drinks, and the lady at the bar said that they’re making our drinks. Margarita and beer. Margarita over the rocks doesn’t take 10 mins. About 15 mins pass, and the lady says it’s gonna be a minute they’re preparing it. My friend works in the kitchen and knows it does not take that long for drinks. And it was empty. The lady at the bar said she could cancel our order. So we did. It was around 3 pm.
