EAT HERE! Don’t let the exterior fool you. Some of the best service and food we had on our trip to Parris Island, SC from Memphis, TN was at this little restaurant attached to a gas station. The woman, who is from Panama, was so sweet and kind and treated us like family. She told us it makes her very happy that people enjoy her food. Best salsa and chips I have ever had! Both made fresh and so delicious. She and her granddaughter took great care of us and made sure everything was perfect for our meal. Outstanding service and a wonderful experience. So sad we were just passing through and live so far away. I would go every week to support this sweet woman doing what she clearly loves and puts her heart into…and to get more of that salsa!!

It’s a hole in the wall but don’t overlook it. Great food, reasonable prices and pretty great drink specials! The MM special is a winner as it’s their Tuesday drink special. Ignore the fact that it shares a building with a gas station and enjoy!

You might think a Mexican restaurant next to a gas station would be so-so but I’ve had far worse! Salsa was great, chips were even better. Robust menu. Only fault I can give is they were light on the queso for my fajita nachos.

Their food is high quality, authentic and they make it extremely delicious!!! So glad they’re across the street from our Kroger area, very convenient, I call first, order and drive thru pick up window, love that, owners are delightful and want to please their customers, I didn’t go in but I’m sure atmosphere is fine. Highly recommend ❤️

This is a good “little hole in the wall” restaurant.Good drinks and food.OUR server was friendly and attentive.The gentleman in the photos, however,not so much.HE is the reason I can’t give 5 stars.We stood at the front door for 10 minutes waiting to be sat(HE was the face of the company at this point).We watched him go back and forth between the kitchen and his table.He didn’t speak to us, LOOK at us.Nothing!.There was ZERO acknowledgment.He acted as if there wasn’t even a front door in the place!OUR server, however,was working at a computer when we walked in,with her back towards us so,of course,she didn’t see us.As soon as she turned around,she spoke to us,sat us and went on to provide great service.
