The food is fresh and tastes amazing! Everything is delicious. I ate here twice in the same day. Guacamole is chunky. The salsa served with meals isn’t jarred! I’m pretty sure it’s Chile D’Arbol salsa. And the drinks they are gooooood!!!!

I’ve been coming here for several years, and have had many dishes from the menu. I haven’t found anything I’ve disliked yet. The service has also been very good. They always have music playing and they recently added a bar in the main seating area. This is one of my go to places for Mexican food.

Well, I was coming back to update my review here, but it seems the restaurant managed to get that done themselves. I’ve been here 3 times now, the first experience was FANTASTIC. Helpful staff, great food, was our new fave Mexican place. Second visit the food wasn’t great burnt fajitas and just so-so experience from the staff, but hey, everyone has an off night. The third time though, and the reason they got my review removed is because my fajitas came cooked with a “special” ingredient, a huge wadded up hunk of plastic cooked in with my chicken, onion, and peppers. I tried calling for 30min to get this addressed and they wouldn’t answer their phone, so I posted a negative review (that they had deleted the next day). I called back to discuss this with a manager, who seemed mildly concerned. He asked me how he could make it right and I told him I wanted a full refund because it was the grossest think I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. He agreed to the refund, and I told him I’d be up to get it soon. I went up a few hours later and introduced myself, and he was about as unconcerned about the situation as one could be, didn’t apologize, gave me a cash refund and sent me on my way. I figured I’d be decent and update my review indicating I got a full refund, only to discover he had contacted Google to have my review and pictures removed. Not only is this a place fore horrible service, and potential surprises in your food, but they’re dishonest too. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Been to this place a few times. Service is always great. The food is excellent. Had the carnitas, burrito, chori-pollo etc all good. There is a new bar on the inside which made waiting much better. The outside patio is great during those summer months.

The portions are really massive! We’ve enjoyed the attentive service and the ambiance at Mi Mexico. On a Sunday evening it was pretty packed but definitely a good choice for TexMex in Powder Springs. I can’t wait to sit on the patio when the weather is a bit better.

The food and atmosphere are altogether good. The issue was with the server. She was a younger female who just couldn’t retain information for longer than 5 seconds. She would forget requests, bring the wrong orders, disappear for stretches at a time. It got so bad that the restaurant management must have noticed and started attending to our table. Another thing that annoyed me was when they brought 2 of the 4 entrees and then acted like no other orders were placed. Then after we challenged them they began asserting that we had ordered something different from what we actually did, even bringing over menus to try and test us and prove us wrong. Finally they brought the inept waitress over and she clearly sheepishly acquiesced that we were correct. Loooong story short, before we left we saw the manager sit down the inept waitress, and have a discussion where her head was hanging low the whole time and afterwards she left. Hate to see a person lose their job, but clearly she had a history of ineptitude. Maybe there’s a better job for her out there somewhere. Anyhow, we may go back if we’re in the area and have nowhere else to go on account of the food and atmosphere.

I’m so glad covid didn’t kill this awesome place. It is my favorite spot for Mexican food in all of West Cobb. And they even built a new bar here!!!! Their food is great as always. Never disappointed coming here!! Staff is wonderful.

Delicious food and first class service. We come here about once a month and we have never been disappointed. We got the seafood enchiladas and the steak chimichanga this time. Their drinks are also super good and portions are generous.
